If anyone had any doubts who is the main title contender, now it should be clear. Clippers look crazy good so far and they can only get better when Paul George comes back in a couple of weeks.

Big hit for Suns, Deandre Ayton tests positive for  diuretic  and gets 25 game ban. Too bad for Suns, they looked good in their first game vs Kings, this will mess them up for sure.

Why does this player do drugs in this early part of the season? Does he average 30+ minutes per game to use drugs? I don't think this player have a good future in the league.

As far as I know, diuretic is used to hide or mask other banned substance. So probably Ayton is doing this for a long time and it just so happen that he was caught this time.

I can't remember when was the last time for a NBA player to be banned this long because of violating their anti-doping policy. And yes I agree why he is taking drugs when he know that NBA is very strict with their drug policy. Not good for his image here.

I can't believe I lost my parlay with two teams losing by one point each but at least I got my Suns ML and OKC to cover the +9.5 single bets. The only game I like tonight is the Rockets at the ML. I have parlayed this game with a few NHL games for some value.

I like detroit tonight by 1.5 at home.  Also I'm gonna ride gs at their home opener.  Either way I'm taking the over in all 3 of these games.  NBA doesnt do defense anymore.  My prediction is there is a record amount of points scored in the nba this year.  I wish there was a prop bet for that, I would take it all day long

Well dam I took a beating.  Detroit looked lifeless, gs either looked like they are gonna struggle this year or the clippers are just the team to beat, I think the warriors are gonna struggle.  And missed 2 out of the 3 overs.  Either way 220+ points being scored in every game is crazy.  Defense dont matter anymore eh.

I think its not the illegal drugs that people will perceived, he might be taking an enhancement drug to improve his stamina in the game.

By the way, speaking of how they dominate the Warriors, people are now expecting that they will become the team that is hard to beat and probably the team with a chance to win the championship this season, that would be Leonard back to back championship on different teams, and I don't know if there's anyone who already did that in the past,.

It is too early to tell. Remember, this is the most competitive NBA season for more than a decade. The teams are well balanced that there are really no heavy favorites to win the championship. Those who are easily concluding that this is Clipper's year is not really considering how heavy the competition in the West is.

You can exclude me, I am a solid Warriors fan and I will still love that team as long as the splash brothers are still playing.
They are called splash brothers but now one brother is down so they are not as effective as before.

Clippers looks unbeatable against the Warriors but its just two games, people are so fast to conclude that Clippers will be the new champ but its still pretty to tell, once Thompson is back, it will be back to its original warriors form and even though they might not end up holding the top 3 but getting into the playoffs is already a big as the real battle is in playoffs.

Clippers is a team that has many role players. And I can say that they clearly got the chance to get the championship this year. They have two superstars that can carry them for long stretches. And they have a powerful bench roster that can outmaneuver the enemy bench.

Regarding with Ayton, I don't think that this will affect the Suns, dude the guy does not get the minute he should have. He's a great center. Probably a problem with the management is the thing with this.

They played awful I dont know what game you were watching.  They have something like 9 guys under 23 years old so its expected, but make no excuse they were awful.  They let up 140 points without overtime.  That's beyond pathetic.  That's 3 points a minute for the entire duration of the 48 minute game...awful

Dude is an amazing player, he has played with Westbrook for couple years and shown that he doesn't need to be the star of a team to contribute and he has still played so efficiently with another star with him that he literally got some MVP votes last year while the team was lead by Westbrook.

So, if PG could comeback and make a big difference then it is great but when you have a team that is already an amazing team and already destroying whoever they face, it feels like any change would be very dangerous. I am pretty sure they would put LWill on the sidelines again and give his minutes to PG and make LWill get his minutes from other bench to be a 6th man once again. I really hope it works out, they look like one of the best defensive teams we had this decade.

Of course Paul George will go straight in the team, it is a no brainer, PG and Kawhi have to start getting used to each other.

It would be ridiculous not to use one of the best two-way player in the league. Especially when it  comes playoffs , as that is when real defense will start, regular season is just a warm up.

Are you joking?  As soon as paul george is good to go he gets max amount of minutes.  You think they gonna throw him on the bench lol.  They didnt give him a max contract to just bench him because the clippers started 2-0.  It's not even up for debate and whoever is playing his minutes knows once paul is back they are back to bench minutes.  I font care if you William's averages 40 pts a game..

It looks like he really worked on it during the off-season. He really shoots 3's but in that recent game against the Nets, he shoots more than his average. It's usual if he's throwing shots at the perimeter area but he attempted 11 3's and able to drain 7 of it, so unusual for a big man. Today's NBA's big man really changed a lot maybe as part of adjustment as no doubt, the offensive power of any teams now mostly focus on the rainbow area and not on the paint.

As you said, PG already worked on other superstars and the result is good. Here in LAC, Kawhi and PG know each other, a big advantage while building chemistry on the court. Honestly for that kind of speculation, we just have to wait once PG comes back.

That is not dangerous. It is actually perfect for load management for both Kawhi and Paul George. They can rest and still be confident that the team can do well against strong teams because they have talented players coming from the bench. This will keep them healthy and ready when the playoffs come (the time when their minutes matters the most).

It will be dangerous if it's Carmelo Anthony lol, but it's Paul George, known to be a superstar that doesn't have an attitude that he should be the focus of the offense.

In his first season with OKC, he doesn't act like a main man even he can and allow Westbrook to work on his usual. During his second season, he still acts like that but this time, Westbrook instead allow him to be the main man at some of the cases. The same scenario will happen in Los Angeles Clippers, he will allow Kawhi to be the main man but it doesn't mean he will just be a second option and will do his best to help Kawhi and the whole LAC as much as he can.

Hmmm this is something new. But I watched it carefully as I know how their offense and defense  works.
Their gameplay is a whack.
It is like the other player doesn't knew what the next step will be.
Screens are happening but help doesn't come.
I remember Curry always switching once a mismatch is on going. He is looking at his back trying to tell the other player to switch. I didn't see that.
The whole game is all about the offense. But just like other teams, let us give this Warriors a chance. They still might be in chaos for a lot of changes in their roster.

They have a good system and as long as the players are doing their respective role, we will eventually see the Warriors improve.
Curry scored 23 points but his strength which is the 3 point shooting was missing here because he only shot 2-11 which makes him the worst 3 point shooter in the team.

They might be watching the video of that game against the Clippers by now and looking at what they are missing.

I see mostly that it is defense which they lack. Offense is there and you can see the high scoring of both team. But Clippers going at 140 points? That says it all, there is no D.

Kerr might want to make amendments with the first team and the 2nd one to avoid bad switches.

Clippers blowned out warriors with a winning score of 141-121. It was D'Angelo Russle debut game that he made 20 points and 8 assists, not bad looking at all.

Warriors is literally lacking on defensive that gives clippers easy points, size matter at all and where talking Kawhi Leonard whos needs to guard each entire players in the court. Clippere dominated it again without PG and Chris Smoove.

I stopped watching in the 4th quarter hehe.

Agreed on D'Angelo Russel. He will also take some work off Steph Curry's hands and supplement him during games.

Steph has been the heart and soul of Golden State Warrior, no question about that. It's that there are new players around him today, they are the third youngest team in the lead so that says it all. They are fairly young so adjustments are needed by Steph and Kerr here.

I seen reports saying that Curry will have a year comparable to Harden's MVP award. The reasoning is that there's no more KD and the scoring load will be handle by him again, so he will lead this team no doubt about that.

Curry has a lot of turnovers, I think D'Angelo didn't score in the second quarter and was able to get points in the third quarter, their defense is very poor, so that's one thing they need to improved at. Because if they don't teams are going to exploit that.

No need to question Curry though, he already proven his worth as a true leader, with or without Durant. He even allow Durant to shine during those time that he is on the team.
