Often times, people see on KAT is his weakness in defending the perimeter, and it out-shadows his ability to stretch the floor through his 3-pt shots.

I guess with what's happening with both New York and Minnesota right now, we are seeing who's the clear winner on this trade already. Right after the trade happens, many said here that it was an equal trade since both teams got an all-star in exchange, but NYK right now is performing better than Minnesota if we will compare their performance last season and this season. The management doesn't want to let go of KAT, but it's because of his contract that forced them to do so. As for choosing Gobert to stay is a gamble for them, and seeing KAT being weak on defending the perimeter, it's pretty obvious that they will choose Gobert. I mean he's a 4x Defensive of the year.

Was it the dumbest management decisions? It is one, but the dumbest for me is not keeping Gobert, but getting Gobert in general.

I do not think that getting Gobert is a dumb decision for them, he was a big help in the team with at least 10 points per game and 10 rebounds and then him protecting the rim and changing a lot of shots. So I do not understand why people keeps on hitting on Gobert though, just saying. And then there could really be some issues on Randle for him not passing and then ANT being exposed now as he complained that he was often times being double team.

Well probably they are now somewhat scratching their heads on why they make this trade, KAT games was still high level, also he could be a liable on offense. But as far as contract goes, just maybe if they can do something they will kept KAT for good. And not just they decided to stick with Gobert, they also think that Naz Reid is a good fit for them.

Yeah, those who trust them covering the handicap are benefiting especially those who pick them during the live game, they are down in the first half and knowing the defending champ when they are in front it's not easy to beat them, and same with what you both said, OKC got a solid stars and role players, each individual knows what's their role and they are performing to the best that they can sharing every single minutes that they are inside the court.

I think KAT is a good defender, however, I do agree that there is monetary considerations why the traded KAT, or money that owner is that cheap that he let go of their franchise player. And now from being a contender last year, to fighting for a play-in spot before the All Star break. So for sure fans didn't like the move of the team, as they lean on ANT/NAZ/Jaden as their core which is not very effective.

As it disrupt with the arrival of Julius Randle, and why they prioritized Naz or Jaden or even Gobert over KAT. That we can't really understand except for the money and flexibility but they are definitely out for the NBA title contention for this year.

This guy, Hartenstein, is the lucky charm for the team. Ever since he took over the center position, things have improved. Now, the big question is, what happens to Chet when he comes back? Will he return to his usual minutes and starting role, or will Hartenstein permanently take over since the team seems to be better with him in that spot?

Yes, it's the Warriors inconsistency that's killing them in this season, just like when they started hot in the beginning and leads the West. And then they are in the losings slump, Dennis comes on-board win some game. Prior to this game, Steph Curry didn't play but the manage to get a win.

Now with him back in the line up, it seems that they are somewhat experiencing the same problem. Dennis just 3 points and Buddy Hield with 7 points. Something is really off with the team right now and they have to fix it ASAP to be in the playoff this season.

The problem is that Minnesota was relying on Anthony Edwards to take over the helm at the offensive end now that KAT is gone.  They underestimated KAT's presence on offense though and now Ant is starting to struggle a bit as the only option.  Meanwhile, KAT is thriving in New York as a team that is happy to suddenly have such an offensive monster in the middle.  I think ultimately it was the clash in personalities that sent KAT to New York, but I'm happy for him.  I think he'll thrive going forward as his talent is more appreciated.  As for Minnesota, they better figure out how to not waste Ant's career.

Are we sure it out-shadows though? I mean we do see KAT putting so much into his gameplay, and yes his perimeter defense is almost non-existent, and on this day and age, everyone plays like that, so it's quite important to realize maybe he needs more, but at the same time he is stretching the floor like a proper five these days, and that's what teams require.

So, I think it's definitely a big deal, and I believe that they are happy with the trade as well. Of course he is not a superstar, nobody expects him to go out and score 30 every night and grab 10 boards and shoot 6-7 threes and make 3 of them. That would be a superstar level and KAT isn't one, but he is definitely a good core player for some championship team, if you build good around him.

Shams is reporting that Kyrie Irving has a bulging disc in his back and will be out for a few weeks. This isn’t good news for a Dallas team that is already sliding in the losses category. Hopefully he comes back good as new with Luka not too far behind so they can make sure to get a postseason run in.

Celtics of the first half was nowhere to be seen in the second half. The Celtics were so choked that they didn't score for a long time. They basically gave the game away. Despite a lot of turnovers, the Thunder dominated in the second half and won with contributions of SGA, Dort and Wiggins. You can see how bad Boston was in the second half by the number of points they scored. They scored 15 and 12 points in two quarters, less than any quarter in the first half. It's not a problem for the regular season, but we saw this kind of blockage from them last year, and it's not a good sign.

Damn, I was expecting that the Mavs will get this match against the Grizzlies. But let's see, I hope that the remaining in the roster with Klay will do something about it.
