Do you think it's fair trade if it happened, and still the same? Like the anger of fans, is still the same for Nico?

Wolves supposed to be winning in that trade knowing how good Luka is and I think he is more better player than Edwards. But I guess the Wolves still bet on their future with Edwards since they think there would be more from their young star.

On anger level on Nico side I guess it will be the same. Luka is well loved by Mavs fans and many people think that he would bring championship to them and will retire as a Mavs.

This is so ambitious moves for Mavs knowing that Bucks always think that Giannis is so valuable to them and most likely they won't trade him to other team.

I think for me it's a good call by the Wolves not to trade their best player in Edwards, and now it seems that they really are banking on this kid as the future of their franchise. Remember that they have traded KAT already another player that is supposedly to help Edwards.

And with this news, it really shows that Nico really wanted to get rid of Luka, as he thinks that Kyrie will be enough with other of his big man like Klay and Gafford and Washington as they have the experience when Luka brought them in the finals last year.

They probably get another player or future pick together with Anthony Edwards. But Timberwolves might have been caught off guard with the preposition by Nico and the Mavs as they are willing to let go of their generational talent in Luka.

But as the same time, Edwards is the future of this team and the Timberwolves organization doesn't want that to change or at least their fans might not like this kind of trades and so they say no. As compare to the Lakers, which we all know that AD is fragile and has history of injuries so it's really the Lakers winning in this trade.

But business wise its not good as Luka was a big reason why fans were watching the game. and its tough to prove in their position now that they have been losing games to say that tehy will be better without Luka. Im afriad if Dallas will miss the playoffs which they have a bad standing now currently rank at 10, so that might backfire as fans will be hating it since dallas bas been consistent in the playoffs, and more so, when tehy see that Luka is doing great with the Lakers, that would make things even worst. i don't know how long this would last but decison was really wrong.

Man nico is in some deep mud right now.  Another recemt trade quentin grimes AND phillys second round pick to philly for caleb martin.  Martin has yet to suit up and quemtin grimes just dropped a 44 piece on golden state in a rare philly win.  Nico gambled his career and looks like it might not work out for him.  No way he gets another gm job after this.

If there is one of the most hated guy in the history of sports, that's Nico.

I even saw some other rumors just for them to drop Luka and get something out of him. So, they're trading him, avoiding the max contract and they get still the same value of star.

It would have been a different story if it's Antman that they've taken.

Yet, the Cavs must overcome the Celtics which are a tough matchup for everyone. That's about it in the east I would say, it's only cavs and celtics. Of course the west looks a bit different. Even though the Thunder should be hard to beat in a 7 game series still there are sleepers that might have a chance. Dallas, when healthy, is a beast. Nobody would want to play them in the first round, trust me. If they get the team in shape it's gonna be interesting to see how much trouble they can give the top of the standings when the playoffs come!

As for LeBron, he was just one point away from making history again, becoming the player to accumulate 50k points (combined regular season and playoffs). But unfortunately, he couldn't get it in that game, but next game sure he will.

The Suns got massacred, and honestly, I think their biggest mistake was trading Jusuf Nurkić. He was a solid center, nowhere near Ayton’s level, but still decent. Every time they trade their big man, it feels like a downgrade.

I agree with that statement, if Dallas will play with complete and healthy squad I for sure will bet for them, it's just a matter of good adjustments and how the coaching staff will rotate them to find the combination that's needed to win the game, but let see if what will happen next as there are still games to play before each teams will secure their spots.

Nearing to the playoffs the each teams are really competiting well as those known playoff contenders are shaping thier system to make sure they are well prepared when playing against their potential opponents.

It was a close game, but the Lakers was able to withstand the rally of the Clippers late in the 4th quarter. Luka with 29/9/6, and it's obvious that he is enjoying his stay now with the Lakers.

As for the Suns, they really don't good and in disarray right now. They have KD, Booker and Beal, but it's not enough though. As it seems that KD is being haunted like when he was still with the Nets with the likes of Irving and James Harden. They can't get their acts together, and probably the news that KD going to be traded before the deadline might have hurt them mentality specially also the case of Beal, which has a non trade clause.

Actually their current roster is scary already and they are so strong in papers. They have solid players which actually can make their team a champion, but the problem is those injuries they gotten.

Healthy AD, Kyrie and Thompson is already scary plus they have good role players but unfortunately it seems this team is so hard to be completed for now and maybe we can see a exciting chapter with them this season since its like they provably not going any far due to their issues.

But it looks like the Cavs have the numbers of Celtics for this season? And it was a humbling experience for the Celtics to not take them lightly. They are leading in the first quarter with 25-3 score and Tatum and the rest thinks that it is going to be a easy game for them.

However, the Cavs mounted a big rally and then Tatum supposedly their franchise player choke in the 4th quarter again. And it bring back memories from last season wherein they really just steam roll everyone in the playoff but if you look at it, all of their opponents doesn't have their franchise player and that's why it was very easy route for them in the East. But now with a healthy Cavs, it might be a different story and gonna be hard for them to defend their title for this year, just saying.

Nico will not do that kind of trade without the approval of the owner. He just made a case on why Luka needs to be traded that’s why the owner approved this trade. It’s impossible for the owner not being notified or ask for approval for this blockbuster traded since Luka is the current face of Mavs.

Probably, Nico value Davis as not injury prone and pure skill which in a sense Davis will be valuable on Mavs since they already have Kyrie if Davis will be healthy on whole season.

If Davis manage to snap on his injury risk, I think Mavs will bounce back and can easily beat Lakers current roster that doesn’t have defense.

That's how Luka plays. He ain't the type that will drag the team to losing but instead, he will energize them all thanks to his passing capability. What Nico did was a big mistake and I highly doubt that the other owners of the Mavs did agree with his decision. I don't know how he made them decide to trade Luka but I bet he has a plan but it didn't work. Yeah, we might see him gone someday, maybe next year or very soon.

We have 7 games later. The most appealing to watch is the Thunder against the Rockets. Those two teams had been playing phenomenal basketball this season. The Rockets might be the 5th in the Western conference but they are just 1 win away to tie with other teams above them.

As much as I hate this trade, I guess I can say that we haven't seen the best of the new Mavericks yet. There are many that are frustrates with trading Luka which is your franchise player, but can we look at the bigger picture at least? Not saying that I'm agreeing with Nico Harrison on this one, but can we wait for this new Mavericks to play as a whole, and if they still mess up then we can say that the trade really is the worst thing a Mavericks GM did in the whole history of the franchise. Give it at least one season then if that fails, that's the time when Nico Harrison must step down as their GM. Well, that's my opinion though.

Ya, you can't just trade your franchise player for a guy that immediately gets injured and expect your team to not take a hit in the standings.  Losing Anthony Davis immediately was a pretty big eye opener for the Mavericks ownership I think.  They could go from winning the Western Conference last year to not making the playoffs this year.  All while losing their best future prospect.  Dallas is undergoing a lot of business changes in the organization though.  I understand why they didn't want to shell out an extra 100 million dollars to hang onto their superstar.
