That weight issue was probably just an excuse to avoid committing to a huge contract when Luka renewed. But now, they’re paying the price as fans are turning against them. Until Davis returns and proves that they’re actually better without Luka, I think Dallas will slowly start losing its fan base. With Luka and LeBron on the floor together, they’re making their teammates better because both are great passers. Their playmaking is elevating the entire team.

For the Mavs games, it will be difficult to see the Mavs winning as most of their big man are still in the injured list. And with that, I think Giannis will take advantage of it in the paint, no Gafford, no Lively and no Anthony Davis.

But they still have solid players like Kyrie and Klay to contend with, so it will still be a close game in my opinion. With that, the Bucks are the slight favorite here, ML and at the starting handicap of -/+2.5. Meaning, sports bookies see this game as a very tight and close game.

The teams in the Western Conference have such a small gap in terms of winning percentage that even a couple wins or losses by one of the teams can make a noticeable difference in the standings. So yes, if the Lakers continue their winning streak, they could move up to No. 2 in the standings.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers can surprise their fans in the playoffs because their current starting lineup looks very strong and has plenty of experience in the late stages of the playoffs.

That was just a reality check. The Pistons aren’t a championship team yet, and it’s still uncertain whether they’ll even make the playoffs. I was actually surprised by the betting line. I get that the Pistons were on a winning streak, but I didn’t expect the Nuggets to be the underdogs in that game.

Murray is more consistent in the playoffs, so watch out for him. That Murray and Jokic connection is going to be a problem for any team they face. They're 8-2 since they got Luka, and on a 5-game winning streak. Looks like the Lakers are playing really well ever since they got Luka. The chemistry is already there from the start which is a good sign. What's good about the Lakers is that they can cover Luka's weakness which is defense since they've got great defenders as well, and in terms of offense, they have lots of players that can dominate on offense at any given night, and some good role players as well.

They're only a game behind the Nuggets (which surprised me as well that they're on the 2nd seed), so if they continue their winning streak, they might reach that top 2 spot in no time. The 2nd-5th spot is a close one and like what I said in the past, a mere 3-5 game losing streak especially in the Western Conference can put you from the top to the bottom instantly. The 6th-10th is also a close one with the Clippers only 1.5 games above the 10th seeded Kings. This 2nd half of the season will be crucial especially in the West.

As for the Thunder, they will take the top spot yet again but this time, it will be a huge margin compared to the 2nd seed in terms of wins. They're more than 9 games above Denver currently.

Couldn't agree more, this tandem from the best player of Dallas (i suppose) then merge to Lakers where Lebron is, that's why don't miss the opportunity to bet for them lol. I think not having a better center is going to hurt them in the postseason. I really think the Mark Williams trade could have done wonders for them. There’s still time for some sort of free agent signing though but I agree that this trade made the season much more fun to watch.

TBH, it might be a win-win for both Timberwolves and Mavericks if this did push through. The Wolves rejected it though because ANT might be complaining too much when he's in the court, but in terms of mentality, he has a better one than Luka (at least for me). ANT can be a leader of the team. Aside from that, he's also vocal in what's happening with the team, and as a franchise player, that's what you need in order for your team to be better.

Currently, the Wolves might be worse compared to last season, but they will at least clinch the playoffs. As for the trade, it would be a fair trade AT THE START, and overtime, we will see that one team will be better while the one will be worse, and we just saw it with Randle-KAT trade. As for the anger of fans though, it's hard to tell TBH, but there will always be fans that will be frustrated at Nico Harrison at first, but as ANT plays more in Dallas, people will love him for sure. It didn't push through though.

Yes, but the Pistons bounce back against the Nets with a 115-94 win so they are back in their winning again and we don't know if they can make another run of winning streaks.

Unfortunately for the fans of the Warriors, they've lost today as Jimmy didn't play against the the 76ers and Philly snapped their 9 game losing streak. It was still very close though, if not for Grimes who scored 44 big points then they could have lost the game as Paul George and Maxey struggled. George had 17 points but Maxey had his lowest for this season with just 5 points.

True, we all know sooner or later that winning streak is going to be enough, so it's good that it's with one of the best team in the West. As compare to the Warriors who lost to the Sixers who had a losing streak, and without Joel Embiid and they are lead by Grimes? That's going to hurt the ego of the Dubs.

But in that game, the Nuggets are really very hard to defend, MPJ was unguardable and then Cade was really trying to guard him and that's what probably hurt his scoring and then their big man got in trouble guarding Jokic. So it's like a the style of this two teams that the Pistons can't really stop them because of the Nuggets so many weapons.

Wolves supposed to be winning in that trade knowing how good Luka is and I think he is more better player than Edwards. But I guess the Wolves still bet on their future with Edwards since they think there would be more from their young star.

On anger level on Nico side I guess it will be the same. Luka is well loved by Mavs fans and many people think that he would bring championship to them and will retire as a Mavs.

This is so ambitious moves for Mavs knowing that Bucks always think that Giannis is so valuable to them and most likely they won't trade him to other team.
