He is really one of the best right now when it comes to offense, but damn, LeBron is still doing well at 41. Anyway, I’m also looking forward to the playoffs. This season’s playoffs look exciting. The teams in the West aren’t like in previous years, where you could see who was the most dominant. They’re fairly balanced, not completely, but enough to make people wonder who will win. With the Spurs joining the playoffs, the Thunder’s road to the Finals will be tougher this time. Honestly, for me, any team from the 2nd seed to the 6th seed could give the Thunder a hard time and could beat them.

But they have beaten a lot of good teams in their last 8 games so they are now proving their point here. Playoff bound, Luka is really putting this numbers like he was with the Mavericks. And their big 3 is intact, like Lebron having back to back games with that kind of performance. So this makes the playoff very interesting as it's very unpredictable on who is going to win the Western conference.

I wonder though what happened to Dalton, JJ Reddick seem to be not giving him time to play and will go with LaRavia as their second unit. Dalton might be a good option for him specially from the outside. But it looks like he has lost his spot on the team because If I'm not mistaken, he says that he didn't like what JJ is giving him with limited minutes and then his name pop up for a trade. However, it seems that JJ has find the secret sauce for the Lakers to have this incredible run at 8 straight games winning, even with back to back games and tired legs, they were able to comeback and beat Miami Heat. Yes, I think it will be an easy first round for them, the real test is the second round. But first, we need to see how will they close the remaining schedule.

All the doubtful players for Lakers played last night which made them the favourites for me immediately! And that peformance by Luka was a gem...

60 PTS, 9 3-PT and 60% FG! These are just very impressive numbers... Let's not unsee LeBron's solid effort with a triple-double too of course. The win streak continues for Lakers with 8 games...

It's serious injury that they have to look at. They don't need to see if Cade can make it to the playoff. They have to make sure that he is ok before resuming with the team and we can only hope that he will be 100% and recovered because again, it's a serious injury.

But this could be a blessing for others to step up because Cade is not available for many weeks. Just like Boston when they misses Jayson Tatum, they really go and grind it and so when he comes back, the team is in a better position.

Cade has a collapsed lung which is really unfortunate indeed.    For now I saw his estimated recovery date as April 18 but they say his condition will be re-evaluated 2 weeks later. I just hope he gets well and returns until playoffs...

Lebron still amazing to see that he can still perform such amazing performance. Their duo with Doncic is so deadly and that bring more wins to Lakers, It seems that they already find a good solution with their early issues that's the reason why we see Lakers winning.

Assuming they will continue this good run I think they might reach the conference finals or NBA finals considering how formidable Luka is when on this level of play.

Lakers now reached as high as third seed on the west with this momentum they are on, very good and I think they do look like a team that can do some damage at playoffs. But that's the problem, they did not look like this all season long, they are now looking like that now. So the question remains, will we see this Lakers on the playoffs or not?

If we see this one, then it's not going to be that hard for them to win it and could happen and that's not a bad idea at all. However, if we could end up with a bad result then we need to be careful because it's not easy. Lakers could go back to how they were and if that happens, like just wo months ago or so, that Lakers would lose out on the first round for sure because they sucked.

Losing your all-star player is a big blow towards your team especially in during the playoffs, so like you, I also do hope that Cade will be fine and he will return in the court come playoffs.

They're still 4 games above Boston so at least they have a cushion to retain that top seed. Now's the time for their other role players to step up with Cade being sidelined. As for the playoffs though, I also expect that ALL of them will step up with our without their star player. I wonder though if this injury of him will affect him on being on the All-NBA first team. Nevertheless, this injury is tragic and we've seen players that had the same injury, and came back but they're never the same anymore. It's a lung injury at the end of the day.

It’s really unfortunate, looks like the injury is quite serious. But the good thing is they’ve already built a strong standing, if I’m not mistaken they still hold the number 1 spot right now. So even if he misses a few weeks, their playoff spot should still be safe. And in a way, this could also be a good test for the team, to see how his teammates perform without him and whether they are too reliant on him or if they truly have a strong system in place.

Tomorrow the Rockets will be back home after losing twice to the Lakers. They’ll be hosting the Atlanta Hawks, who are currently on an 11-game winning streak.

So the question is, can the Rockets finally bounce back at home, or will the Hawks continue their streak?
