Are you buying bitcoins? Why?

Earning them at the moment rather than buying them, and considering buying some with my Mechanical Turk income once it gets rolling (there is sooo much verification period).

Same here, never bought a single bitcoin yet. Worked hard to earn it though. Can you buy bitcoin directly using your mech turk credits? My account there has been dormant because I can't get my credits in cash, only gift checks. But if I can use it to buy bitcoins, I think I'll open it  again.

yes i am buying bitcoins and reasons why i do that is because  i usually spend some bitcoins, so i like to buy some just to have them,  so i would earn if their price would rise

As the price is being stable now days, it is better to earn and save more btc then buying and having it with you. I am sure that you must be aware of the ways to earn btc in this forum. Earning more btc would bring more profit than buying and selling.

There are several reasons why people buy bitcoins. As for me, I buy bitcoins because I use it for investing in companies that requires bitcoin as their mode of payments. I also use these bitcoins for trading purposes. I buy bitcoins when the price is below average and sell these bitcoins when I already made profit and I can feel that the prices of bitcoins will go down.

I bought bitcoin in the past. Nowadays, I prefer to collect it from some events that being held by some sites and especially through this forum. When I got enough bitcoin to convert to my local currency then I will sell it to buy another stuff offline.

Why shouldn't we wait for it to reach $1000? Or are you saying that we should buy now then wait for it to reach $1000 then sell? I still agree with your statement though; buying bitcoins right now should be really profitable in the long term investment plan. But setting goals would also be nice, after all, we are only storing them to get enough money for a living.
