yes I'm sometimes buying bitcoins because of the fact its profitable and maybe the future of all currency's who knows right ?
The bitcoin is gonna get bigger and bigger and with just holding you can already make some nice profits right now.
And with holding you might lose too. It's still better to act when there is an ongoing price rally that happens rather than to hold for long. People are waiting for such a dream price and their saved coins are jsut saved. They will have instead a more profit if they take the ride for every price rally rather than to hold for long. it is an investment and just like any other investment there is always risks. so you make an assessment based on what you see and weigh the profit against the loss and if profit part is heavier and more then you invest. The greater the risk the greater the gain. You should not risk the amount you cannot afford to lose, that what they always say if you want to invest. As of my observation, there is a rare chance that you might lose when you invest. It is always positive that you will came up with a profit. Though you really have to be open on the possibility that there is a chance of losing to. |

I'm buying small amounts, but I'm planning to buy more in the future. I think it is one of the few safe investments in the cryptocurrency space.
You had realized the right reason to buy bitcoins and you will get your benefits in future for sure. I am also buying bitcoin with the intention of gaining more profits in future, but I'm not sure how long I will be able to hold it without spending it. Buying bitcoin is not that much important when compared to holding it for long period. Yes, buying bitcoin is less significant for getting the maximum benefits from its price appreciation. Holding it for long haul must be the very much needed thing to get what we are aiming when buying bitcoins. People do forget it, and will sell of their bitcoins when they are seeing some $100 profit for their investment and get trapped from future price appreciation benefits. Yes, it is a real trap if you are so greedy. If you believe in a strong bitcoin's future, then you will not get disturbed from your intentions of gaining maximum profit from future price levels of bitcoins. But, so far many early adopter had failed to hold for long duration as every human will get tempted by seeing their money got multiplied. |

Every month I buy 0.5 and keep them in cold storage and I really don't bother what price it is holding, as its an long term investment for me and I am pretty sure that price will definitely go higher in future.

Share with us what's your main reason for buying bitcoins?
Of course that i buy bitcoins, if i wouldn't buy them i wouldn't be on this forum  And reasons... Well they are very simple. First of all it is very easy and fun to gamble with them, when i feel lucky i gamble few $ on sport and i place my bet in minutes, not like with fiat money. I also love to buy tech with bitcoins now, since there are loads of new online stores that accepts bitcoins as payment, i ought phone, earphones, and some really nice t-shirts for bitcoins. So these are main reasons why i buy bitcoins, i can't think of any other ones. |

I think the only reason that is often encountered is someone buying bitcoin to invest and earn profits in bitcoin. rarely did I see someone buying bitcoin to buy something |

I think the only reason that is often encountered is someone buying bitcoin to invest and earn profits in bitcoin. rarely did I see someone buying bitcoin to buy something Because why would you buy bitcoin if your fiat money can buy you directly of the goods you need, that is why many here has a testimony of buying bitcoin cause they want to trade, or if the value of bitcoin gets low then that can be an investment for them if bitcoin goes sky rocket! I am not saying all are buying bitcoin for that purpose only but almost everyone was doing it, and if your buying bitcoins to buy goods in the internet I think there are not many bitcoin users are doing that because not all goods are available with bitcoin in certain countries! |

This is new to the people therefore they would not understand it if you will not explain them thoroughly, even if some professional people has no interest in bitcoin because of its risky by nature that it is not regulated but we should not let them think that way, instead tell them the benefits so that our coins that we bought will have a great value once massive adoption will be achieve. |
