I don't think that the value of Bitcoin will crash significantly in the near future. But do not invest all sum. Invest the amount that you are not afraid to lose.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Bitcoin is definately not dead, but it's a long way from stable though.
If you need to ask for investment advice in a forum like this, my advice would be to not spend a penny until you've done your own research and know why you are, or are not investing your money. Never take advice from a forum.
This is literally my response I wanted to make. In general with investing (and more broadly in life) it's always a good idea to do your own research - most people who you ask advice from will have ulterior motives or won't be knowledgeable in that field to give you much solid advice. More so on a forum like this, where it's filled with Bitcoin proponents who themselves have not always done their research before providing advice.

Bitcoin prices no guaranty of future either it can go up or very low also because it not backed by any government or any valuable items but prices are purely depends on demand and supply so any big traders can easily manipulate these bitcoin prices so prices can move in either way very fast. Unless in future more bitcoins are hold by public then prices may stabilize.

Should I believe in Bitcoin ? I have 10k $ and maybe going to buy , but I doubt the further development of Bitcoin and I'm afraid to lose money! Can you convince me or dissuaded from buying?
I can't tell you since I have some doubt just like you're. As we can see if you bought bitcoin since 2010, surely you are rich right now. But if you want to buy today, it's quite difficult to predict as their value still unstable until now

Even though I'm positive that Bitcoin will be around $500 by summer 2016, no way I'm going to start convincing you to spend $10k you have on buying Bitcoins now. Investing all money you have is always a risky thing and investing in Bitcoin is not an exception.

Yes, you should. Bitcoin, despite its horrible tendency to sound, had a strong and thriving community. This is what drives a currency, and is what will make the bitcoin of the future. And that bitcoin is the bitcoin of today.

Bitcoin is yet to be stable and is definitely risky for a huge investment.
With that being said, it is a growing currency, growing in popularity and notoriety.
Its future seems to be a good one.

Nobody really knows the future of Bitcoin. It might spike, but it might also hit rock bottom. Invest at your own risk. I suggest YES.

bitcoin's opensource nature allows it to be developed into something that is future proof. that alone is already a huge plus. but at the end it's up to the people themself whether they want to believe in bitcoin's future.

the thing is... when bitcoin will be stable the price will be too high to invest and acquire many bitcoin, instead right now that there is more instability the price is more affordable think about this for a moment...

That makes sense... Stability implies low-risk investment, so when price is stable it means that the trust of bitcoin (or its value) won't change a lot.

Yes, this is absolutely true! And this is not only Bitcoin. Everything functions this way. In bouncy times, there is a huge opportunity to profit and also to lose a lot! But that's why you need to know what you are doing of course! On the opposite, during the calm times there is not to many possibilities for big earnings! The same will be with Bitcoin in the future!

Bitcoin is still developing. Worldwide, there are over 7 billion people and Bitcoins will be less than 21 million. Rights of the free market, so demand and supply ensuring that its price will continue to grow. I hope you know what you have to do

you have to believe in bitcoin, because bitcoin is created to always be at the pump. if you are in doubt, you can buy when bitcoin prices are low and you will not lose your money

I suggest you to do day trading if you know about how to trade. You will always make little by little profit if you can be online over day. Don't only buy it and leave hoping it will be doubled by next month as it is unlikely to happen.
