For me I am not spending now and that is because I want to hold it now around this time because you already can see now that the value of Bitcoin will be more worth so that is really nice for Bitcoin itself but it is hard to know what will happen in the future but we are all hoping that it will rise for a long time.

I have been actively spending bitcoins but since the price started plummeting, I have taken a back seat until it stabilizes.

Good idea, but i think bitcoin will only be stable when halving ends..
You can spend your btc but not too much.,for now the best way is to earn and hold ,and not joining in a ponzi site.

I do once in two weeks. I combine it with my salary to buy some things that are needed. But the problem would be the delivery from the online store, sometimes it took 3 to 5 days before it came.
i dont spend my bitcoins that often, to be honest i do it like once a month or so and thats it
Good for you, so you are move of a saver that a spender. Actually you are blessed to have that skills because in my case I always spend my bitcoins in gambling and even if I lose I still come back so my investment is not that big.

Why don't you quit gambling for good, as if you do you can surely save good amount of  coins for future which can help you in earning higher profits, in gambling majority of times you will be standing on loosing end.

Indeed gambling right now is just wasted money and time in my eyes because the worth is gonna rise to a higher amount.
Due to this you should not spend a single penny and wait on the halving that is coming.

There is  no win there, unless someone stops you from doing it if he or she saw that you are already winning. But if you are just by yourself I doubt you will stop because you want more feeling the heat of luck.

At the moment not. The timing is just too bad. Because we (at least all) are not clear what the halving will bring us. Which is why i wit hold myself from spending.
Suppose the price bounce back to 850. Then we lose 200 dollars per bitcoin.

I spend my first 10$ in Bitcoins this Weekend for CS GO Skins on bitskins.com.

Due to the Steam Summer Sale prices are dropping as crazy in Skins. But this is just another Investment for me, as I will be selling the Skins after the sale again. In General I am trying to build up some Bitcoins.

Have not really spent a lot the past few days because I am just observing how the price will be by the time the halving is here. I think that's what most of us here are doing, just waiting for whatever happens in the next couple of weeks. Whatever the case, I'm preparing myself for a bumpy ride and would do what I think is best at that time.
The time management is the fault of many bitcoiners here. In this July every one is waiting for bitcoin block reward HALVING. And then the price will rise, so in my opinion we should hold our bitcoins securely in our wallet and spend later.

Yeah we cannot really afford to spend now, as price is not too high but it can go higher in coming days, and we may hit the price of 1000 usd at the time of halving.

I tried to spend actively also my bitcoin but not with the steam load or any purchase with steam. I have tried it by buying online prepaid loads.
Because here in my country I can buy loads with the use of bitcoin as payment.
But today, I'm saving my bitcoins even it is just few hoping for a better price increase after the halving.

Well most of us today are holding our bitcoin because of the hope of halving that it will increase the price once it happens on July.
But we will see the result let's just think positive and everything is going to be fine.

Well, in my opinion gambling is not much affected by price changes, because gambling give you chances to earn and at the same time loose too. So its not a win win case also not a loose loose case, so gamble if you can afford.

I think its not the right time to spend on gambling as we cannot afford to loose any amount of coins at this stage, even a small amount can have high impact if price goes higher at halving.

this is the time to hold and collect coins, you can collect coins in gambling same time you can lose, so every Bitcoin gambler should be aware of Bitcoin’s potential as well as its downsides.

I agree, bitcoin gamblers have still the guts to gamble because they also want to earn for the upcoming halving even if gambling is a double-edge sword where you can both win and lose. And at this time gambling and trading is the only legit way to grow your bitcoins. But in trading you must have a patience to earn so gambling is the fast way to earn bitcoin. And it is only 2 weeks i think before halving.

I am not too active in my bitcoins right now, as I feel it will hold more value at halving, so I am saving it but sometimes I do spend it on gambling but a very little amount.

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.
There are many services/merchants/shops accepting bitcoin right now, and the number is growing. The problem is that usually payment with bitcoin is not widely announced and are often hidden under debit/credit, paypal and bank transfer method of payment. Usually you can chose bitcoin payment only if you are finalizing your purchase.
I never spent bitcoins because you wont get any profit out of it if you are paying with bitcoins because we also have money so keep your bitcoins
only for investments than you will make the most profit trust me buy things with gold and invest with bitcoins.
