How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ?

Well this is very effective way of staying away from gambling. But if you are the one that going to block the sites.
Then you can just simply unblock it again, I have tried this kind of strategy for other sites that I don't want to visit.
But if you can't control yourself you will just unblock it again.

the important thing is to keep yourself sendri. when we do not control and still have the desire to play gambling then we will do it again. any how if we do not have a sense of patience, we will continue to play a gamble until we lost all the money we have.

That's what I'm thinking because once you get addicted it is very hard to get out of that addiction. And even you are going to block all gambling sites to your computer by doing some ip ban or any software.
You can also remove that easily if you can't control yourself and if you don't have patience.

To be able to stay away in gambling, you need to give more importance to a certain thing, in that way you will shift your focus to another things that would consume most of your time. I suggest you do things that would not involve risking money because money sometimes lead us to being addicted.

But the problem is how do you suddenly find something that is important. I know a few gamblers even risked their family relationship by spending all the money that the family has. If it is to that extend, i dont think finding important thing will help.

That's the most effective advise man but do we really wanna lose in gambling. I think we gamble because we want a lot of money in a short period of time. I think losing your interest in gambling would be the best way, and you can only achieve that if you have something you are working that consumes your time a lot.

It is not good that you can stop gambling but you have no any single cents in your life. It will be a bad situation that may give worst side effects and make you do something worst than gambling.
And this is not a guarantee that when you lose all your money then you will stop gambling. You may sell all your stuffs, getting loan, or even robbing a bank to continue gambling because when you are addicted then it will make you to try anything to get money for gambling.

This is bad advice because gamblers or addicts will do anything to keep gambling. Sometimes that might include committing crimes and such. A gambler can be very desperate and start stealing and buy BTC and gamble again.

Instead of gambling, you may want to take your dog for a walk.  Your dog will be happy and you two will have a good bonding plus exercise.  After that, you may want to help your mom on doing some chores at house like cleaning, washing laundry, cooking.  Then after that you may clean your garage, water the plants around your house.  And when you are tired you can get a newspaper, the Bible, magazine, or any books and starts to read.  In short, be busy!

The best way, but only for a few moments. a gambler who already get addicted in gambling will be very hard to leave and go from gambling without the willpower and support themselves. So the way you will have no effect whatsoever. Hopefully you have a better thought and provide the best solution

Very true. No matter what. At the end of the day, it's your family who will still support you. It's 2 for 2. Only his family can help him, but he still has to get his act straight.

Yup! family is the best last resort anyone can have as a helping hand, but what if your family in the one who's gonna abandon you then It will be your problem on your own you will fight your way out to addiction or it will consume you until you die, or it is either you will addicted forever or get yourself together cause there is still GOD that can help you if you believe.

Really man you are sure about on what you have said? I guess this is a very ridiculous suggestion to stay away from gambling.
It is better to use your money for buying things that you need rather than losing it all the way with gambling.

Actually I am the same with you few months ago but now I can stop it already and dont being addicted anymore, may be sometimes I still do gambling but it is low bet, winning or losing nothing to lose here. May be you should focus doing other entertainment to entertain yourselves like playing online games and never think about the past anymore, let that money be your last money to gamble and start collecting again. It is true that it wont be as fast as gambling but at least you can safe it without any risk

The best thing you could do is find some more information about people who could help you and otherwise i would say never begin gambling or dont go to often.

This is not a good solution do you think it will work how about the local casinos you can still gamble in locally without online gambling..
So i think this is not the best to suggest for addiction.. better to go in psychiatrist first and ask for recommendation..

and you can just easily unblock it if you get bored and tempted to gamble again. YOu blocked it, so you have to the password to unblock it. Addiction will work that way. You need outside force, like professionals and friends to help you cope up with addiction and eventually get rid it out of your system.

Blocking the gambling sites will not work because anytime you can unblock it if you want to gamble again and again. You were just fooling yourself doing that. That is just my opinion.

STOP. Do not gamble again, if you feel like you're easily get addicted with this types of games you should make yourself aware. If you can't stop it then put atleast small amount of money to stake and don't ever think that gambling is a way of making profit unless change your mindset that gambling is a way to have fun.

I think this is not gonna be helpful at all, if the craving for the addiction will not sustain by other addiction then I think he will still gonna come back in his old addiction, I think he needs to get a rehab first in this way he can sustain his self back again but he needs time to recover from this mental illness!

Actually that is not really good option but for some people with high stage addicted need to suffer this so they can open their eyes to see what have they done. With losing everything they will try to remove everything and start over again, this will help them to stop from gambling. Since people want to cover their loss on gambling , it's so hard to minimize daily bets.
