How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ?

i am getting addicted to gambling.And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

Any suggestions are welcome

Same situation sir im being addicted too in gambling two years ago everyday i do gambling if one day i cannot gamble i feel sick see what addicted me in gambling. I have no luck in gambling but now i stop gambling i find another hobby not to gamble now i go in trading and here in forum. The best thing you can do self decipline.

It is good that you finally stop/quit from gambling in your own and you made it without any other people implicating.
And for me, your new hobby are much more better that the old gambling hobby, cause for me you can just lose lots of money in gambling but in trading if you have patient then you can earn money in a long run which is good.

agree with you, Im ex gambler too, now im focus at etc trading and mining today i earn arround 0.1btc that's big money for me, because with gambling im never win any amount. and trading make me forget to touch gambling again.

Yeah trading is profitable if you know how to do it but by your saying you trading becausw you never earn a lot like 0.1 thats why you do trading now but how about if ex gambler lose a lot before and want to recover their lose by trading, lets say 10 btc? You sure need a lot of money right before you can do this kind of trading. This is a good thing but most people only thing that if you lose much on trading you can win back what you loss through gambling

if you wanna stay out of gambling then stay out of internet. If you stay out of net you won't be able to play gamble in online.because if you on the net you will see many features of gambling which will attract you. I know my suggestion is little bit funny. but I think its quiet well

in my place you can gambling in offline mode too, i think it's not a real solution, im ex gambler, i stop my gambling because i found other way to growing my money, and im not interesting to deposit or gamble again although 1satoshi, because if i start gambling with small capital, i will deposit again to recover my lost, and not stoping except all my money out.

the real solution is don't touch gambling, don't thinking about gambling, if you have money/bitcoin withdraw your money then buying mining hardware

Yes that would be a great solution! and it is great seeing people that stops gambling before the worst occur to them because you will never know when addiction will strike on you, and yes bitcoin mining is still in, but it is not really recommended in some countries because of electricity cost, internet speed and cost, and the mining rig is highly expensive!

we can try other way to stop gambling, maybe trading is not bad, we can manage our time to learning about trading, then invest our money to growing our skill, it's better than gamble then lost our money

As they say that experience is the best teacher, so when one like trading and want to make money he should always start with a little amount of capital so if ever he will not succeed at first try he can easily recover and make that first failure as your learning experience to continue your journey in trading.

That was good you already found yourself in trading. I think you don't meant in gambling. I am also a loser in gambling before but I know how to handle my money so I don't lose huge amount. I just gamble occasionally and nothing more.

Maybe the only way an addicted to get out from gambling is only when he has a devastating experience in doing it. Without that happening we still come in gambling when we feel it and the temptation is really strong that we cannot disallow it to enter to ourselves.

That could help but I would suggest you do games that would let you stay away from your computer. Doing a physical games like sports would help and it would be beneficial to you because you are living a healthy life style then.

Keeping your self busy would really help to prevent you from visiting gambling sites, working on your day job and making more over times and accepting extra jobs would really make you busy the whole day and even before dusk..During weekends too, instead of playing online games, I think going on an outing/swimming or hiking could really help you and  it is good for your health too, physical and mental...

I have not met any gambler who got recovered from gambling addictions. But if it would be possible for any gambler then he might be the luckiest person as he will regain his life back. But quitting gambling is not possible for many gamblers as gambling keeps on attracting them to go back to gamble again and again. It must be better to stay away from gambling to avoid addictions of it.

I agree, any kind of addiction is very hard to remove but I don't agree that it is only a oneway traffic.  There are lots of people who are addicted to gamblin but somehow managed themselves to go normal.  With the professional help, they manage to overcome those urges to gamble.

Don't you dare store BTC in a gambling wallet. Block those sites or try to use your laptop near your parents. Don't gamble, try to lock your wallet.
The moral of the story is not to ask someone else to block a casino's website for you. It is flawed logic if you think that could help.
