How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ?

It depends on the seriousness of your gambling addiction, because if that is too deep already it is not easy to stop in gambling. I have tried to be addicted in gambling but I am just lucky that I was able to stop it on time when the addiction is not that strong and now I am only doing gambling for fun because I learned from my mistakes.

That would be nice for you and I think getting really addicted to gambling may cause you trouble if you really want to settle things from betting in gambling you can always do that but if your really addicted to gambling it is very difficult for a person to left if he's really addicted to gambling but there are certain persons even if he's addicted to gambling he could manage to stop his addiction with their will if a person has not enough will on stopping his addiction he will need consultation from a psychiatrist.

I also think it's not matter of addiction because any person who has facing some problem because of gambling, how could get survive in long term that is big question, so if any person has thinking like this an addicted person can stop the gambling suddenly, it is impossible from my point of until he lost all of his money and get out of funds, than he can think about this to give up.

Exactly, that are the possible things to happen if you are not going to quit in gambling. But when a person is already addicted in gambling then he is going to have hard time to get out of it and stop for sure. But if he loves his family, his properties and friends. For sure he is going to choose staying away from gambling rather than losing his precious treasures.

That's good, but it depends, not all that gambles have the have the same reason and are in the same direction as the others... Some of those who gambles are into profit... You cannot take gamble away from them as they rely on it for their living... If this gamblers have no job, I think that is all what they need, they need a way to make a living or to make money...  Except if they are lazy, for sure they will not work and just gamble the whole time...

Yeah I agree with you it is really never easy at all if you are going to quit gambling. We can just say it easily to stay away from gambling by this method, or quit gambling by this way. But the reality the application of the suggestions are really hard to do. Unless someone is going to guide you. And I can think of someone that can help you, which is God.

Yup if we have God's blessing we can do anything. But in this situation, God means according to me our Parents. Yes, only our parents can help us to come out from this gambling. Ans also we need very strong willpower. Then it is easy to get out from Gambling.

A gambling addiction is similar to a drug addiction. You forget to think about consequences, you only focus about winning. It is very hard to get out of such an addiction by yourself.

Yes it is very difficult to stop gambling if it is long gamble. It would appear the feeling of wanting to bet. If you want to really stop should stay away from gambling and should resist the feeling of wanting to gamble. If we can hold to bet we will be able to leave gambling.

That's great, but I bet, it won't work...  A gambler becomes smarter than he is when his urge to gamble enters... For sure, he can still gamble without a money...Maybe he would take a loan or try his luck in faucets...  Working on day job is still the best solution to this problem or keep your self busy... Imagine when you your self has nothing to do, for sure, lots of ideas come into your mind, so keep on doing something..

If you are not addicted you can leave gambling anytime you want. But once you become addicted I am afraid the only suggestion I find valid in this thread is that to get help. Find a good daily job to keep you busy for the most part of the day and you should be good. You will forget gambling eventually. Think of your coins if you are betting with them as something of big value so try to save them. Better click on faucets if you have the urge of wanting to gamble. Read a good book or watch a good movie. Anything that will make you forget about gambling will do.

Nice suggestion, take one of the factor to be able to gamble and you might eventually stop gambling. This might work to those who are not yet really addicted to gambling. But to addicts, they will still make ways to get hold some of the money to be able to continue gambling. They can filch some from their payroll before they give it to their wife.

Yes and you can divert your mind by going out for holidays with friends and family and that will help you in keeping away from gambling but you also need to have self discipline to do that.

Yes it is very difficult for the one who is addicted to eliminate the fee of addiction in him cause of the difficulties in taking these off you mind that is why certain medication are needed, but a forceful elimination of these addiction would not be very successful cause it will need the cooperation of the addicted and the care of the love ones, and yes the addicted person should submit himself freely and not by forced.

Nah, I think you can't forget gambling that way... Actually that might lead to just make you want to gamble more...  But if you are busy and in focus on your work ( not those times that you are in your work and you are thinking about betting) I mean a very dedicated you.. That way, there will be no space in your mind about gambling...Discipline and good strong will, that would make you quit gambling...
