this rule about only 100 bets is pretty damn stupid
because you cant make 20 bets or 1000 bets this is a little stupid what you guys made
even do people usually put 1.01 and you try and prevent that its kind of stupid
its better if you putted a rule no odds under 1.04 or 1.05
also side competition should be worth more then 160mbtc its more intense and hard to pass the groups
there should be more rewards to how much people are betting and attracting people to the site itself
i hope directbet see this,because this tournament is marketingly more worth then it looks and the rewards are much much lower then when it started in first 3 tournaments

minimum should be at least 30 bets and max no limit
as i know you should attract people to gamble more on your site not to limit it,i guess im right directbet,hopefully you will look into this

Hello Joca97, I'm answering this in the discussion thread, because it's easier for other users to read it, and comment as well.
I tried to organize this post in "points", or ideas. They are of course all related and do not represent isolated ideas, but I do think that it will make it easier for anyone to comment if they want.
Point 1:First we try to reward bigger bets with the 13% bonus. As you know, for the purpose of this competition, you get 13% of your bet stake added to your ROI% either you win or lose the bet. So as your bankroll increases, if you keep betting the maxed allowed for your bankroll, you will get a good reward for the competition with this bonus. That's the main reason we still keep it.
Unfortunately this bonus brings some problems as you all know, and users were getting huge ROI% by spamming low odds bets. We try to solve this by adding the 100 bet limit. ROI% greatly decreased since we made that rule, and that way we can keep the 13% bonus incentive for bigger bets.
Point 2:Maybe we can limit the odds, but the problem is to what limit. I don't think limiting @1.05 would be enough, and the 13% bonus would become exploitable again. Maybe @1.2 would be a good value, but then it comes the problem with live betting, because of the odds variation (that you can negotiate, I know), but it could still mean you would lose a key moment for live betting. And what about odds really close to that number (1.18, 1.19), that could be considered as a value bet for a bettor, and he would not be able to make it (at least not for the competition).
Point 3:I don't think this is a simple question, and that's why we haven't made any changes yet. The 100 bet limit although it's not ideal, and we can see that in the last competition, where the fight for first place was really tight, and patt0 that was in front could not defend his first place anymore because he run out of bets. That is not of course the best way to see who is the best tipster in the forum, but it brings some "order" and "boundaries" to the competition.
As usual everything is open for discussion, and we want to make the competition better. Right now, I can't see any better solution for all these problems, but let us know what you think, and of course all the other participants.
Now regarding the side competition:It is worth more than 160mBTC at the moment, remember you get 30 for each phase you pass, so the winner gets a total of 280mBTC (that is about the same as 3th place of the main competition, and although this one has a rollover, at least it's not affected by the minimum number of qualified participants). I know it's hard to get to the final, but it's still a "just" a side competition.
Point 4:As for bigger prizes, I don't really know what to say. I understand that the bigger the prizes the better, we all like that, but we can't really forget that the first main purpose of the competition is to create a safe experience for anyone that wishes to start betting (that's why we "guarantee" a 70mBTC participation prize, that is almost the same as the minimum bankroll), and the second main purpose is to promote those that are good at this. That's why we created the Hall of Fame (and the trophies).
Point 5:We are now in the 8th edition of this competition, each one with a month duration, so when someone gets there (to the Hall of Fame), it cant just be because he had a lucky run, it probably means that he actually has some skill. So this can actually be a good promotion to the participants as well, and they are winning prizes in doing so, plus the profit form his bets.
So yes bigger prizes is always better, but we can't remove value to this part of the competition, even if we don't get bigger prizes.
