Things look really great for this competition. Love all the changes, and I'm considering going for X3 prizes.
I'm seeing many users doing it, but I'm still not sure if I can make the switch for that new bankroll size (it's practically the same amount of prizes that I won in this competition xD)

Hello everyone, registrations are doing well, but again I would like to remind you, that you need to inform us that you want to enroll for our new contribution prize of 100mBTC. Of course that if we see that you are already using our competition avatar, sig or personal message, we will enroll you anyway.

Right now, and without counting user with the multi account feature, we have 33 registered members for the competition, but only 17 applied for the contribution prize. Of course you don't have to do it, but it's a guaranteed 100mBTC prize, so you should think about it.

Here are the details as shown in the the registration thread:

Summary of Updates  for the X Tipster Championship

Hello everyone, the registration for the X Tipster Championship opens in a few hours, so here is the summary of recent updates.

Bankroll update:
Altcoin price adjustment: 100mBTC (or 300K DOGE +, 20 LTC +, 7 DASH +, 7 Ether +)

Main competition update:
X3 Prizes: Users playing with a bankroll of 1 BTC or more will have their Top7 prizes tripled
(so 3 BTC for first place, 1.5 BTC for second place, and so on)

Contribution Prize: (currently replacing the participation prize, that has been removed)
- All qualified participants will receive 100 mBTC Casino House Credit
- 3,000 loyalty points need to be earned before it can be withdrawn
- 10,000 loyalty points for members with activity of 70 or lower
- members will have to actively post their bets in the main thread
- members will have to promote the competition in their Sig OR Avatar during the competition outside of games and rounds
- if you can't use your sig or avatar, you can alternatively put the following text as your personal message:

Note: you can still register for competition without using sig/avatar or personal message.
You only need to do that, if you want to apply for the new contribution prize.

Side Competition Updates:
New structure: League + Playoffs, instead of the previous group phase that had a problem with inactive groups
- We will create a League instead of 6 groups.
- We will then award points every day as we did on the previous format (but now we only have a big group, instead of 6).
- After the first week we will advance the top 16 ranked players to the the knockout phase

New prizes: (for the side competition)
- 30 mBTC Casino House Credit (for those that reach the 1/8 Finals)
- 1st 500 mBTC
- 2nd 300 mBTC
- 3rd 100 mBTC (to be determined by a matchup between the players who lost in the semi-finals)

Quick suggestion. This contest will run in the winter where the only real options are NFL and NBA. I recommend maybe making mnimum a bit smaller to like 80??

Thanks for your suggestion, but we will still have many football games from major Leagues, like Germany, Italian or French leagues until 22 of December. The Premier League doesn't even stop at all during December, so right now we don't see the necessity for that.
Even in our competition based on Euro 2016, most users did not had any problem completing the required number of bets, and like we said many times, that number offer a good balance to the competition, in terms of minimizing the luck factor.
