All times mentioned by FrueGreads / in the rules are in UTC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UTC), so the conversion should be fairly easy.

To answer your question, yes, the 1/8 Finals started today, approximately 13 hours ago.

I guess this edition is being hard for everyone. We are on the last two weeks and top7 is between 20% and 50%.
Compared to the last competition, the value are quite low I guess. I already miss the side competition, I think I will give it another shot at the main one.

They usually put it in the middle of the day, but it's quite easy to see the points. The admin once made a post with a practical example.
I can't find the post, but basically, you see your daily ROI, and see your opponents daily ROI, and see the difference between them.
Then you match that diference on those intervals stated in the rules, and you can see how much points you got.

The ones that passed to the Quarter Finals, will keep battling for a place in the top3, that will award the side competition prizes.

Here is the schedule of the Quarter Finals. All rules stay the same, as in the 1/8 Finals, including the one that says that you need to place at least 3 bets on any given day to qualify for points.

Quarter Finals: 23 to 26 December at 00h UTC
Semi-Finals: 27 to 30 December at 00h UTC
