Hello!
So I am sure you've been asked this. But I am struggling getting into your pool. I have an antminer S7 I put the pool as -o stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3333 My worker is my Bitcoin address, and password is xx. But I cannot get my miner to start working the pool on my Bitmain dashboard or find my worker on the ZPool site. Have you had anyone else experince this? Thank you!

Don't use the -o in front of the stratum URL just use this:

stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3333#xnsub      <----"#xnsub" after the stratum URL turns on extronance.

I know eh!  I think once this first one is found, it will attract the skeptical miners Smiley It always tough putting up a new algo with such a high diff coin.

Nicehash added the algo, but there's yet to be any miners putting hash into it. I was hoping I'd be able to rent some and push this block out.

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

Ill keep my 4Gh/s pointed at it and hopefully we will be able to rent some hash soon

Update:  5.8mBTC/24Hr reported;  not including the unpaid balances.  Looks like the GPU algos are picking up the slack in the drop of SHA256 profitability.
Still [sounding like a broken record] I am very happy to report this!  I have been having more consistent earnings with zPool than I have had with others, including xPool.

The S7; I have it on its own wallet which currently is showing 10.30948mBTC/24Hr....  Which is still below the expected return.  When calculated at 4TH for the 0.0033 pool estimate;  Should be around 13.2mBTC/24Hr .
So its getting close to calculated figures and I have a feeling with another day of zero or minimal downtime, the figure will come closer to expected returns.  I think maybe the disconnects sending it to nicehash for 5-15min stretches may be a possible reason for the drop;  but I am leaning more towards pool luck;  and the fact that one or two higher earner coins were disabled to find the wallet problem on the server.

FWIW I am running MinerMonitor to keep an eye on my antminers; and it's average speed since the last reboot is 4Th on the dot;  so, I think my calculation figures are conservative enough. (not factoring in the pool's 2%)   I wish I was able to have my S7 when profitability was in the .0053 range;  But sadly;  I was late on receiving it in.

I have the S7 at 50% fan speed, and 600M.  When temps indoors peak at 100*F, I am seeing 66*C on the S7;'   at night its ~50-55*C and ambient temps are a LOT lower.  I am unsure what batch its from, but I know its one of the 600M batches from the sticker that's on it.  I don't see the batch referenced anywhere on any of its labels.

what d= level do you set your S7?
I might take one unit out from kano pool and chip in to zpool

I have mine at d=4096;  solely because im in a low signal/bad area.  I am in the country;  and mostly use a cellular internet connection;  when that goes down my fallback is a satellite link (2000ms+ latency) so I need to get counted for as many shares as possible to not feel a hit share % wise.

Id say if you are at a nice stable connection, 10000-16000 would be an acceptable figure.   The pool's stratum would assign me anywhere from 9000-26000 sometimes...  typically in the 13000 range.

Worker

stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3333
1PHSDYvVp6HpqtuUPocK41DrdeHbbezaeP
c=BTC,sha256

Use those settings, should work fine for 99% of the people out there;  if they want to add to my account Wink  And assuming you are mining SHA256.  You left a lot of question marks with your post.

yes that's right - i just set it at about 9000 to keep it steady - but then again, its hashing via MRR

Yep;  seems as if you set lower than the server's minimum;  it does auto difficulty.

Thanks!

Easily cleared 2 mBTC the other day, with some downtime. Looks like I am on course to easily clear 2 mBTC again with even more downtime (sorting out win10 issues which always seem to come down to user profile corruptions, and trying to install Ubuntu linux, which really seems to dislike my nvidia/amd GPU mix). I wouldn't under-estimate the earning power of GPU algo's, my ageing GPU's provide the majority of my earnings, my USB asics aren't much better than my CPU (excluding electricity costs).
Overall, really pleased with the income coming in on zpool these days.

Scaling and transaction rate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=532.msg6306#msg6306
Do not allow demand to exceed capacity. Do not allow mempools to forget transactions. Relay all transactions. Eventually confirm all transactions.

Are there problems with the stratum server?
I mine (scrypt) since the beginning of zpool and check my log files every few days.
Now I can not connect to stratum server. I have not changed my hardware or software.

[2016-02-25 11:10:20] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3433
[2016-02-25 11:10:50] Stratum connection failed: Connection timed out after 30001 milliseconds

Hmm, the failover pool works with the same settings. I use Minera in the latest version with cpuminer.
