do a tracert to the pool;  see what happens.  Maybe someone in the middle is faulty....

I can rarely play my favorite game because of a fault with a Level3 node they wont replace.  crazy packet loss through a node like 6 hops down.

just curious what is your sgminer version number? 5.3.1? what GPU you are using?

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

i have a msi gtx 960 4gb and i dont know what kind of Algoritm mine, can tell me ? another thing, what program would recommend me to use and how configure it?

you can do decent DCR mining right here on zpool with that card.

I suggest DCR to start;  but look at the code I have inserted below.  you can use this to taylor it to your needs for the versions of the mining apps you have:
Notice I downloaded different versions of ccminer for each algo that works best...
Code:
:start
ccminer50.exe -r 0 -a x13 -i 17.5 -o stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3633 -u 1PHSDYvVp6HpqtuUPocK41DrdeHbbezaeP -p c=BTC,d=0.004,x11=8.2,x13=6.8,qubit=12.5,x15=5.6,lyra2v2=9.6,neoscrypt=0.5,decred=1.7
ccminer_.exe -r 0 -a x11 -i 17.5 -o stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3533 -u 1PHSDYvVp6HpqtuUPocK41DrdeHbbezaeP -p c=BTC,d=0.001,x11=8.2,x13=6.8,qubit=12.5,x15=5.6,lyra2v2=9.6,neoscrypt=0.5,decred=1.7
ccminer.exe -r 0 -a qubit -i 17.2 -o stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:4733 -u 1PHSDYvVp6HpqtuUPocK41DrdeHbbezaeP -p c=BTC,d=0.004,x11=8.2,x13=6.8,qubit=12.5,x15=5.6,lyra2v2=9.6,neoscrypt=0.5,decred=1.7

Thanks for the help, where i can download the miner for DCR?

I just googled one and downloaded it....  The miner apps are all listed by name in the batch example.   Should be easy to find the current version.

He's on vacation as per a few replies back.

I have two S3's currectly connected to the pool and hashing fine.

Why are you mining with a video card to port 3333?  Seems very wasteful......  but im probably interpreting wrong what you are trying to convey.

If your antminers have extranonce, try adding #xnsub to the stratum line;  and be sure to use a proper formatted password.   I can't see why people are having connection issues as I havent been having any myself;  and I go through a cellular or satellite link;  which is by far not optimal and the most problematic.

Thanks for adding X15 algo!

On the site multi algo page there is instructions for setting up NVIDIA/ccminer cards. It could do with adding an AMD/sgminer combo. If the conf below looks good, you could use it as an example. Also, there should be instructions for normalising algos to the card, which is worthwhile doing as card algo outputs can vary considerably. I think the way to do this is to determine the hash rate of each algo for the card, and then normalise it to another algo (e.g. scrypt output). If algo output is 1000 kH/s and scrypt output is 100 kH/s, then algo normalisation factor is 1000/100 = 10. (Note: use the hash rate reported by the miner, rather than the 5 min 'luck' based hash rate reported on the site by share submissions. This figure will vary more than the miner hash rate)

The below conf example I have used on sgminer 5.2.1. On default failover, add most used algos to the top of the list, or set up round-robin failover instead. Note intensity, thread-concurrency factors also need to be set appropriate to the card. AMD/sgminer needs quite a lot of fine tuning.

I do mine via command line...  and am more familiar with intensity settings;  I have mine dialed back to have my box still usable.  Its my one powerhouse in the house;  Ill probably be upgrading it soon though.

Im sure others could comment.

I also have mine, on this computer only, set with power back. But it could be done with a miner control too. Smiley

By adding hp do you mean adding hashpower? I think you can add back up pools to the end of the config. It is not possible to profit switch between the two pools though, as it is the pool stratum servers that disconnect your connection when you are not on the most profitable algo, or refuse access when attempting to connect to a stratum that is not the most profitable algo based on your password string.

Scaling and transaction rate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=532.msg6306#msg6306
Do not allow demand to exceed capacity. Do not allow mempools to forget transactions. Relay all transactions. Eventually confirm all transactions.

Have some spotty wireless here in Jamaica, but mining connectivity should be ok u less your miner version is buggy and send invalid work requests it could have been banned automatically I can't check any of that until I get back.

Cheers

I'm interested in this:  Anyone have a link to a discussion about this?  Or some quick tips?

My buddy has been getting dropped from the pool on the scrypt port and has no clue why.  its connecting to NiceHash just fine....

I know hes running a 25Mh G-blade a pair of orbs and a gridseed blade (5Mh)...  Not sure if hes still running the G-blade off a pc or if he finally replaced the built in pi that was damaged during shipping.

Prior to your vacation and the switch over he wasn't having any issues.
