It’s honestly a bit sad and disappointing to see this happen. My account got closed because it was inactive for a long time, and I didn’t even realize Bitsler had a policy like that. The last time I was active was back in 2023 when I was betting on dota 2. This is the first time I’ve had a casino account for so long, even though I didn’t use it often, and then it ended up getting closed. Kinda regret it and feels unfortunate.


Question though:

Do you have funds in the casino before it was closed?

I'm asking because that could be one reason why you are a bit sad and disappointed. But the thing is that Bitsler says that you can open a account with the same email so why are you then down? I think some casinos have this kind of policy to clean up the users account that has been inactive for many years. And it could be under regulatory laws for them to do that. And like this abandoned accounts could be a target for some hackers to exploit.

They talk about closure of inactive/dormant accounts in their term of service so you really can't fault them. I believe there was no balance left in there by the time they decided to close your account.

Also if you were not betting so much using the account, then you should feel so sad about the account VIP status.

They talk about closure of inactive/dormant accounts in their term of service so you really can't fault them. I believe there was no balance left in there by the time they decided to close your account.

Also if you were not betting so much using the account, then you should feel so sad about the account VIP status.

I also have a Bitsler account since it’s one of the older casinos, so I’ve used their platform before. Whenever I decided not to use it anymore, I always made sure to withdraw my funds first. They did send an email about account closure, but that wasn’t really an issue for me since I wasn’t using it anyway.

So just last December, I opened a new account using a different email, this time signed up through Gmail, and I was able to log in instantly. I only use the casino occasionally now since I already have a lot of new favorites, but Bitsler is still solid in my opinion, especially being one of the older and more reputable casinos around.

Yeah this is really happening and we can't blame the casino because they also have certain rules to follow. But since they advice that he can create new account under that email well I guess that is the only option he can do.

There won’t be any problem if he creates a new account using the same email address or a different one. Casinos generally allow users to re-register if their previous account was closed due to inactivity (dormant account). This is also stated in Bitsler’s terms:

Logically there are only 2 possible reasons why someone feel unfortunate of gambling account closure.
First is that the owner feel that he has still some balance in the account but this reason is not valid anymore since there is a written terms that bitsler may charge administration fee so even if he thinks that he has still some balance then I guess the balance is already gone to pay the administration fee unless his balance is huge.
Second is that the account is on high level on the VIP system but since he said that he did not use it often, I believe his account is not on high level.
By this fact, I do not see any reason why he needs to regret and feels unfortunate as he is allowed to create a new account if he wants to come back.

It's really good that after sometime when Bitsler closes the inactive account, they releases the email address associated with it. In this way if the gambler wants to return back to the casino, he do not have to use a different email ID and instead can use the same old one too.

Also in this case, he would not be accused of creating multiple accounts because his previous account has been closed permanently.

That's what I'm also thinking why he he feels that way. I have some small balance is other casinos too but even if my account has been closed, I don't feel the same. It's just dust amounts though. And we also have to think on the side of the casino as well. I have gave some reasons, and if I may add, casinos clean up their servers as well with inactive account, sort of to save operational cost. Anyways, as said, he can open an account with them with the same email address, so everything is good for him.

On casino, they consider users as people, not as accounts and if a person already had an account on Bitsler but it was closed by the casino by any reason like inactive or ToS violation, it's personal problem with the casino, not an account issue.

With ToS violation, that means the person was banned from the casino completely. It's not allowed to come back with another email and another account.
With account closure by inactive, perhaps there will be way to reactive the account by contacting Bitsler support. I don't think of what you said here, it's not logical and even not allowed to use a same email address for registering a new account.

This whole debate is pointless.

Whether it’s a personal or account issue, you’re still locked out. Bitsler’s always been rigid with their ToS, and I’ve seen countless people try to dodge bans by making new accounts - only to get axed again.

Charging inactivity fees and eventually seizing balances just proves they care more about their profits than their users. Sure, they’ll email you after 90 days, but good luck getting your money back after the 14-day notice. It’s their rules or nothing.

Have you self-excluded yourself from Bitsler? Or have you decided to leave it? If there is no difference between the mail server for promotional mail and basic mail, then likely you can't unsubscribe. If it's only mail server for sending mails then can't be unsubscribe. Otherwise Bitsler couldn't send you any emails, even if it's necessary.

If you decided to leave Bitsler, then you may request self-exclusion and ask to unsubscribe manually from the promotional mails. Often they use mail servers for sending promotional emails and have to ask support if self-unsubscribing doesn't work. Remember, you may miss some important emails if you fully unsubscribe.

Yeah this is really happening and we can't blame the casino because they also have certain rules to follow. But since they advice that he can create new account under that email well I guess that is the only option he can do.

Also another reminder to read their TOS to know their rules.

But if he want to create new account under the same email much better if he contact their support first. To make them aware about he's intention to sign up new account to avoid any potential conflicts or other problems.
He can create new account under that email. But he must makes sure that he will not break the rules. We know that casinos can modify their rules following on what happens.

Reading this, I can understand the frustration. Policies like this are easy to miss if you’re not actively using the platform.

I didn't self excluded nor left Bitsler, I just wanted to mimimize quantity of e-mails that I receive in my inbox so I decided to unsubscribe from e-mail promotions as much as possible. Among all the services from which I undubscribed was Bitsler, but for some reason I still get promotional e-mails from them. I don't have any funds left there so no funds are in risk if I miss some important e-mail.


I think it is important to fix this.

If I try to unsubscribe and keep receiving emails, I just report spam and block the sender.

Thanks for suggestion, but I want to have option to receive emails if I start using it again and subscribe again. If I report them as spam I won't see anything as I never check spam.folder.

That's what I'm also thinking why he he feels that way. I have some small balance is other casinos too but even if my account has been closed, I don't feel the same. It's just dust amounts though. And we also have to think on the side of the casino as well. I have gave some reasons, and if I may add, casinos clean up their servers as well with inactive account, sort of to save operational cost. Anyways, as said, he can open an account with them with the same email address, so everything is good for him.
