If the government impose tax then I have to pay tax. Government have all the prerogative to do what is best for the nation and tax is a big help for any development. Just pay tax appropriately.
Government members in >90% of cases use unbounded power to do best for themselves and not for the nation. It is called corruption! As saying goes; 'give to 'Caesar what is belong to Ceasar'.
Caesar was a tyrant and unelected impostor in Roman Empire. All people like he deserve only bullet in the head!

My country has no regulations regarding Bitcoin, so no I will not pay taxes for it. Unless they regulate it and start taxing everyone, then yes I will most likely pay.

If the government provides me with honest support then I want to pay taxes. Unfortunately my government provides me with not a good support so I'm not too happy about it but still paying taxes. If the things goes worse, I would avoid paying taxes as hard as I can.

In my country, the tax rates are really high. But even then, I have paid my taxes regularly, on time. I am living in a third world nation, and obviously there are a lot of people who are engaged in tax evasion. And it is really irritating to hear about the rich people avoid paying their taxes.

There are countries where revenues from selling Bitcoins cannot be taxed. Like Switzerland, but even in Italy I have been told. It would be useful to setup a page where people can express what they know about Bitcoin taxation in all the countries.

I think many "rich" people in third world countries earn amounts that can be legally tax exempt in Western Europe and they can qualify for food stamps!

It's standard "Capital Gains Tax" rather than "Income Tax" when you take it out, just like it would if you sold forex/pm or stocks for that matter.
All governments keep an eye on unusual inflows from accounts on that one, no i wouldn't recommend to cheat on that one.
It is important to distinguish between short term and long term capital gains tax. Both of which are a function of the ordinary income tax bracket you are in: https://i.imgur.com/N1VMv.jpgYes I pay tax for better country and help others.

At present there is no regulation, at least in europe, so I don't see any reason to pay taxes. In the future, we'll see. Of course, I'll try to pay the minimum allowed by legislation. :-)

As a duty of a citizen, it's my duty to pay tax. No caring whether the government make use of the money or not, it's my duty to pay tax for the place, country that I work within to earn my living. I the government fail to make use of the tax in which they promise me to do, that means they have fail to perform their own duty.

Are you going to pay taxes on your Bitcoin profits?
Suppose you make a million dollars. Suppose you have already made a million dollars. Are you going to hand half of that cash over to the government? Of course, this is assuming you convert your coins into federally recognized cash. If your only intention is to amass a huge supply of Bitcoins, the question does not apply to you.
You're supposed to pay income taxes. It seems rather easy to get away with not doing it, though... at least in this case.
First of all, I do not trust the government. All them taxes are just going into the pockets of politicians. Giving them that kind of money will not be beneficial to me and my fellow countrymen.

Do we have a choice not to pay? Every item we purchase have taxes on it. Gas. Food.. bus ticket..unless you live in a cave, plant vegetables, and hunt for food. Is it worth?....

It's in the law and am afraid to charged 😂 it's also a form of help and contribution to my country too so yes, I'll pay tax.
