What do people around you think about Bitcoin ?

some of my friends know and I tried to explain bitcoin to them, I gave up on it shortly after that because they did not seem to follow at all, I think people can't followup with bitcoin and find it difficult.

Yeah that is the major problem we are facing that people around us are not at all  interested in bitcoins as they feel that its a waste of time and money and if they invest into it they would loose all  money in long run.

most of them only know about bitcoin through me but they don't have much interest to acquire it themselves. I think if I ever made a lot of money through bitcoin they would start to gain some interest but at the moment they are waiting to see some miracle results from me first. My Dad at the moment thinks it's too high risk as an investment due to it's volatility. My Son though admires what I do especially because I run my own altcoin but He is also waiting to see what comes out of it all. lol

Around me bitcoin is not enough popular and most of people don't know about bitcoin but those who know think that it is a scam coin and it is only used by hackers, I hope bitcoin will be more popular and be used everywhere.

I am facing the same problem, people around me have negative mindsets towards bitcoin and it's really difficult to change it, lets hope everything would be fine in future.

In my case, nobody has idea actually of the existence of the bitcoin. I think it will be a long time so that we can see ads on tv talking about bitcoin or even people talking everywhere about it.

Good idea but I think word of mouth would go a long way in popularizing bitcoin.Remember we didn't accept Bitcoin after watching any ad similarly others will join us if we spread the word.I think bitcoin can't replace fiat completely but it can become a good alternative to money processors like PayPal in online transaction

I have the same problem if you try to explain what it exactly is they are just not listing or not interested, I really hate the bitcoin has such a bad name.
I hope this will change in the future, I do not even know people that are using the bitcoin in real life.

It's the fault of the media. They always mention Bitcoin when it comes to crime and hacked exchanges. Of course that people get scared or not interested when they hear some one is talking about Bitcoin. I am not surprised by this anymore.

That's true.. many people who don't know bitcoin always thinks that it is worthless, and worst they even think that we are doing something illegal in the internet as they see that we are earning and yet they don't see us do some extra jobs during night when we are at home..

Most of the people around me has 0% knowledgeable about bitcoin. When I try to tell and explain it to my friends, almost others are bleed and others do not pay attention or didn't follow. But the time I said that the bitcoin can be converted to money and you can get some for free, all ears are on me

Everyone thinks in such a manner, Some believe its a fraudulent work. We'll work hard and some day someone will be grab our earnings and move on. As its internet based we too can't question anyone.

Also so many people think that Bitcoin is being used for fraud yet processors like PAYPAL are the biggest thieves out there. My dad and I lost so much money in Paypal, freezing people's money in online businesses and plus I lost 95% of my online income this year all because of Paypal. If you wanna look at fraud look at Paypal and they are a fiat payment processor. I think before people turn their noses up at bitcoin they should look at Paypal first. My dad is taking them to court.

People around me don't know what is bitcoin and how bitcoin works. Only some people know about bitcoin, because in my country people don't know internet can also using for earn money.

The most in my close circle think its a bad pay method because its used a lot by criminals,I told that was just not true at all.

But the problem is that we keep on saying that people around us are not aware about bitcoins, but thenhow they know that it is used by criminals? Are criminals their relatives??

In my experience, I happened to tell my uncle that I am earning bitcoin and that I am getting it from the internet, then he tell me that I am in an illegal transaction, and that where the hell did I get money from the internet without me depositing in it.. so probably most of those who don't understand what we are doing might really think that we are doing something that is not good..

Yes most of the people in my area don't even know about bitcoin, even those who know have the impression it's something like drugs money and don't understand it's just a regular currency, probably 1-2 know reasonable about it.
