So, what do people around you (relatives, co-workers, co-ed, friends...) think about Bitcoin ? Please, indicate your country, so this way I'll be able to make a synthesis about what people think about Bitcoin.

For me : I come from France. My relatives think that it's criminals' tool and that since they can't touch money they don't trust it (note that those same persons are pro-banks, where you can't touch money). My friends think that it is useless and that it has no future. Both of them agree that scare them the most is the Bictoin's price volatibility.

So not so positive Undecided. I hope that you aren't in the same situation.

My family thinks that this crypto currency is scam they always look bad at me if im telling that i can earn here just posting in this forum. And my plan is to buy a gadget using this crypto currency so that they believe that this bitcoin is real money. And i want to introduce it to my friend that i can buy a gadget with this bitcoin.

The thing is people only pay attention to flashy things, so naturally, people will start paying attention to Bitcoin again once the price goes beyond 1K, then it will be all over the news and normal people will start talking about investing in mBTC. By then, you'll thank that you were one of the few involved in Bitcoin when it was still feasible to buy entire BTC units without going bankrupt.

It depends. Relatives and family members does not know and does not care about bitcoins. They just know I earn some money online. But colleagues know more about bitcoin than me. They are the one responsible for introducing bitcoin as an opportunity for extra income. God bless those people.

I've told some people around me about it but they don't seem to be interested or they don't understand how it works exactly. I've suggested to start out with faucets and opening up a wallet and read more about it but I think lack of interest is holding them back.

Many people think that Bitcoin is not safe and that you can be hacked I think. They think that the wallets are also not secure.
But they must use it and see that the Bitcoin is very good to use and it is also very secure.

The same thing I as well experienced when a person got interested in bitcoins as the price was too high. He already knew that bitcoins are in demand and he said he might not be able to buy bitcoins later on. He wasn't sure about buying bitcoins as he felt it has value today and may not have any value tomorrow.

It's because of this factor that many take a step back and prefer to watch bitcoins lasting for years rather than investing in it now.

There needs to be done sort of effort made to retailers encouraging them to accept bitcoin as payment.

Honestly, Bitcoin is not popular in my country. Their mindset is that Bitcoin is usually used in illegal drugs/ criminal activities or it is some kind of scam. I tried educating some of my friends about it (benefits, future use) but they just ignored me.

People from here say that it is not okay to have cryptos and that I shouldnt buy them because they arent real money. They say that it is not okay to have money stored on my phone or computer. It is probably because they didn't use Bitcoins ever. I am trying to explain the good sides of crypto and why is it good to use.

Its difficult to convince the retailers in certain place where they are not educated enough, as they will not entertain anything that they don't know.

What's your suggestions?
Edit: I'd use it daily of it had broader acceptance.

The fact is we don't have broader acceptance at this stage especially in third world countries where majority of people are not aware about bitcoin yet.

In Russia about Bitcoin know few people, and if something and know something negative. The Russian government is retarded simply does not know and does not understand the essence of Bitcoin. They do not understand how it can not control, as well as can not steal it and have a profit from this.
And so Bitcoin is still in limbo. On broadcast media disinformation about terrorism, about the fraud that Bitcoin is bad and so on. And people used to believe blindly, not yourself or your friends, and used to believing the propaganda on TV, it's a cult. Naturally people think bad about Bitcoin, because they showed so on TV.

Bitcoins are looked down upon by many. Even my parents consider it illegal and hence they don't allow me to withdraw it for cash via bank accounts. I just buy gift cards online and buy grocery from Amazon or any other shopping portal.

around me the knowledge of bitcoin in people depends on their education, those people who do not have got education do nt know about bitcoin while those people who are high educated know well about bitcoin, but still in those educated people there are some people who do not have any knowledge about bitcoin and they are those educated people who have their well earning jobs and they do not need any other source of earning and they are getting paid in their local currency,  and those who do not have any job and while searching for earning they came to internet know everything about bitcoin, its technology and its sources etc.

I come from Indonesia. Here the bitcoin pretty nice welcomed by users. Different in your country, in my country bitcoin is a positive thing even though the government has not legalized bitcoin but also not illegal bitcoin. Family and friends, supportive and interested in using bitcoin so I think a good response. thank you

That's good of your country. Here the most people around me believe it is purely created for the illegal and gambling activities. So always they avoid it for this reason, convincing and making them use it is really hard.

Oh that was not so nice judgement for bitcoin. Sad to know that. On my experience, my co-workers and other friends became interested in bitcoin when they knew that it is a new way to earn money by completing some task online. Since people today used internet in their everyday lives, they find it okay to try bitcoin. They managed to claim to faucets, invest on mining sites, play games and use their skills to earn btc.
