What do people around you think about Bitcoin ?

I've actually got a couple of colleagues at work who are into bitcoin.  The rest of my friends and people I know don't have a clue about anything even related to cryptocurrency.  I'm not much on proselytizing,  either, but I do enjoy discussing it with the people that do know about it.  It's a rare thing.

In my case, people around me has no idea about bitcoin and when I had the chance to tell them seems they are not too interested as they are more comfortable in having their regular job than to venture for bitcoin for a possible great earning.

I just prove that only open minded people can and will understand bitcoin.

They are too busy with their current jobs so they don't find bitcoin interested. Like my mother who don't know how to use a cellphone and she admit it, she thinks that it will only ruin her daily works.
My friends online are already contented on what they are doing even without knowing about bitcoin.

In my side know bitcoin person is few, my relatives do not know, only a few friends know, but they don't recognize that bitcoin, bitcoin is a risky investment, and even friends that this is a scam. But I believe bitcoin, it will be a monetary revolution.

I think so, many people don't know bitcoin because in my country bitcoin not too famous. besides that, people around me know bitcoin is a currency for illegal activities and be used in deep web. But we can use bitcoin to good activities. I hope they will using and collecting bitcoin together,

I had some financial advisor for a major accounting firm rant about what a scam bitcoin is.  I just looked at him and shook my head. My fiends 18 year old kid thinks its only used to buy fake id's. Every body has their own viewpoint. But bitcoin is what it is. Majic internet money of course.

We all have our own viewpoint but non-bitcoin users' viewpoints are biased. How can you say that bitcoin is a scam if you haven't tried it yet? How can you tell the wine is sour when you haven't sipped some yet? They act as if they know everything about bitcoins when all they did was research all the bad sides bitcoin have. They act as if they know all the details.

Every bitcoin user has the same viewpoint and if people would actually try using bitcoins, they would have the same viewpoint as us. Bitcoin allows us to earn money but there are also people that abuses its use.

Here in my country, most of the people around here majority is that bitcoin for them is a kind of scam online. Although, they heard already through their friends but still in the last they are truly negative into it.

me too. The people around me do not accept Bitcoin, they just see it as something truly evil and risky. Even my family do not like what I do on the Internet with it. They keep saying that Bitcoin is no more than a scam and preventing me from using it. I am very disappointed so i hope this fact will change someday.

Honestly people around me think bitcoin is a scam.  The reason is that there is this MLM company that take advantage of the ignorance of this people and use bitcoin as bait to lure them into joining their scam company.  Then after sometimes, this company runs with their money.   Whenever i talked to them they just said that bitcoin is scam, though i tried to explain them, they never listen.  I just told them to research about BTC.

I myself do not even bother explaining what bitcoin is and how great it is, whenever a friend randomly asks. I hate taking the effort to explain when they're obviously not really interested.Coz if they were actually interested then they would have researched a bit and then ask me about points they're having trouble to understand.

And yeah, it really would be great to talk to people offline who are actually into it. Sadly, haven't met any.(aside from family)

Well, they have questioned me about bitcoin, and I explain it as best as possible so that they understand. Well, I just hope that they will learn more in bitcoin

you have the point but it can help if you can give a good information about bitcoin so that they do not need to research deeply in the internet just to find what they want to know about bitcoins.. before i just say that i am earnings bitcoins for part time or free time.. i tell them one more thing the motivating them that you are actually making large money you can prove them just to giving away free bitcoins .. if they interested they can not use it if interested they will use it just like what i do and i got one my cousin intersted and he keep looking how to earn it i said just keep invest your 10% salary in your bitcoin wallet and wait for few months and check if how much is the price of bitcoin if you seen the price of bitcoin is high sell them and buy bitcoins again if the price is low or decrease little bit low from the present price.. he is actually making earnings right now and he is claiming bitcoin too in faucets.

Oh well. My standard line is, "It's money and it can be earned online. Great for investments as well." That's it. If they're interested, they should research and then ask me specific questions.

Yeah well, the "earn online" has been used so many times that it's even become a deterrent(=scam) but it does help when it's said by someone you actually know.

I have just a friend that knows bitcoins does worth money, the other information he dont know at all, in the past we were to invest into a miner together, soo he knows those information and just. The last time i were talking about bitcoin a person asked me what it were, i had explained, but he never talked again about those. I do believe the most person where i do live doesnt know what is bitcoin, and if there is someone here its hiden due that bitcoin be see as ilegal.

Oh god, many people do not believe that it is possible to make money on the internet, if they do not believe that it is possible to make money on the internet, will they believe in bitcoin? I think not!

Another issue has to do with the amount of money in the bitcoin case that you earn on the internet. If you earn cents in the case satoshi, who will want to stay hours in front of the pc to at the end of the month to earn $30 or less? Knowing that this person pays for water, energy, food and clothing? If you're going to talk about bitcoin and its advantages to that person, that person will only be interested if she's making a lot of money. If that person is not making a lot of money, he will not even want to know about bitcoin.

Frankly speaking most of the people around me doesn't have any idea about Bitcoin. Once I tried to tell my colleagues about Bitcoin that it can be generated from computer mining. The laughed so hard that I felt stupid.

Bitcoin is a Revolutionary Idea and it has the power to change the future of Internet transactions. But Bitcoin is not for traditional people it is meant for such people who can welcome changes.

Let them with their pride at the end you are the one that will be laughing if keep ourselves invested in this new and revolutionary currency and they will be left wondering what if I had listen to avikz.

Mostly people around me don't know what bitcoin is, and there are some who haven't even heard bitcoin. Though there are few people who know bitcoin, but they just only know it's a digital money.
Bitcoin isn't famous thing in my country, so I don't wonder if people around me have no clue with bitcoin.

People around me are mostly known with bitcoins not because I told them or something but for some reason our society is much more interested in new things and online news and hence when they came to know about bitcoins they spreaded it among all. In fact I first heard of bitcoins there itself.

It's more easy to attrack young people to use bitcoin. Most young people are interested in IT technologies and it caused their interest and that's good but many people from 30 and higher can't understand why it's great despite the fact that bitfury created biggest datacenter in my country.
I think situation will change in near future, lets wait and see what will happen.

It is not like that, rather people aged over 30 have much more wisdom and they tend to understand things better.
But there is another fact that people above 30 means they are married and hence they have lesser time as compared to unmarried and energetic youth !

Pretty much exactly the case here also... i rarly mention bitcoin and someone here knows about it, but thats not to surprising as i live in paraguay... and people here are on facebook and whatsapp, and thats pretty much it lol...
