Bitcoin is better than paypal when it comes to security. There's 2FA in Bitcoin, signed message, email verification, etc. And the person you're transacting with cannot secretly dispute his payment before 180 days. The only advantage of using Paypal over Bitcoin is that there are more online shops that accepts paypal than bitcoin.

This like depends for using bitcoin and paypal. For me i like using for bitcoins, because bitcoins no need account, transaction so fast, no button "dispute" . I Know paypal have feature dispute this like for policy prevent theft. All this back again to you how to save secure account.

You are right but I still would choose paypal because of the fact you get protected by them if you buy something.
I'm really liking it and its also fast, if you are buying you have no fee's also so that is also pretty nice if you are asking me.

They are two completely different things but if you mean to store money then probably paypal cause they might be more secure not sure. But to earn money etc bitcoin is better ofcourse cause paypal you wont earn money with.

Bitcoin is better than paypal paypal has alot of taxes and bitcoin doesn't have any or barely any so In this case I choose bitcoin.
Also for online shopping you can use bitcoin debit card and pay anywhere if i'm right also Ive seen only markets with bitcoin so anything paypal can do bitcoin does 5x better and more efficient so i choose bitcoin over paypal.

In paypal you have to disclose all you identitys and you have to give your identity proofs , in paypal transaction reverse is very famous to scam. and i personally saw paypal and the procedure of it is very bad. and their charges also heavy.

In bitcoin you dont have to disclose your identitys , you can just create a hardware or online web wallet and give your wallet address where ever you want to receive or pay the bitcoins. the transaction charges are also less. and more it is irreversible, and about converting to fiat currency their are so many exchanges where you can convert it one is like localbitcoins.com which is having so many user who are ready to buy or sell and do transaction through bank transfer.

if you are talking about the security of the BANK is the best choice. but when you talk about paypal and bitcoin there will be no answer.

I think paypal is better for transactions online and bitcoin for the rest. I don't even mean paypal is better just more useable since we can use paypal like everywhere. But bitcoin has no fees so as soon as we can use that everywhere then that will be miles ahead of paypal. Who doesn't like to manage their own money in their own bank anonymously right?

You need to pick the right thing for the right method because i like to shop online and i like to pay with paypal if i am doing that because i trust paypal bitcoins are not for that bitcoins are here for investings.

Yes Paypal is crappy , Paypal will sooner or later ask you to provide information's to confirm your identity if you receive big amounts of cash or from suspicious accounts , and they can limit your account and you lose your money even if you did nothing .
Bitcoin don't need ID,Passport , don't need a specific age , can't get limited and you can receive how much you want and also you won't get your balance chargebacked by the sender , fees are much lower and much more ...  Bottom line ? Bitcoin > Paypal .

Now if you are selling your BTC for Paypal , you may want to be caution because you can get scammed so make sure to trade with someone trusted and note that using a Middleman won't really change anything because the other party can still chargeback so it's not really recommended to accept payments on Paypal .

Some peopel like to use bitcoins some like to use the paypal i like to use the paypal because i know that paypal is secured by a company and bitcoins is from no one so i donttrust it.

I use both and like bitcoin better. With paypal transactions people can take the money back charge it back and say they haven't received their product. Then paypal wants to tell the SELLER that they have to prove it they send it instead of letting the complainer prove something. So paypal is alot of hassle.

Well there are people  that still love paypal and they  use it regularly on purchasing online   instead of bitcoin but as we all know that bitcoin adoption is not yet reached  in any corners in the world and some are not yet  informed or awared on the bitcoin existence but if they know the accessibility of bitcoin and transaction process maybe they would definitely switch to bitcoins.

yes i am also agree with you. bitcoin is too much better than paypal, although i have no account in paypal therefore i have no clear idea but i have heard from my friends that paypal is banned in so many countries and it is also regional while  bitcoin is not regional it is universal currency.

No matter how high the fees are, the average joe type of people will continue to use PayPal with all its shortcomings. When these people are used to somethint as PayPal, then it's very difficult to convince them to use a much better alternative such as Bitcoin. Even not when you explain them all the advantages that Bitcoin has, and the low transaction fees. It all doesn't matter for them.

I guess paypal is losing a lot of customers because of bitcoin. So instead of competition they are just going to try to adopt bitcoins as well but I'm hoping that they are not going to charge high fees again.

I think they are both good but I think right now that Paypal is better because of the fact its very safe with payments.
If your product is not good you can get your money back at the dispute system from paypal.

Bitcoin is much better, in fact PayPal is ancient payment system. In Africa may be Paypal can work, but at the rest of world Bitcoin is better and up to date.

It was paypal for me wayback, but when bitcoin was introduced to me it all changed. My wife use western union and I am asking here if she wants to just send the money thru bitcoin. Still she says "no" and I just dont forcr her. Someday there will be time that she will be tired of how much she is paying every transaction with WU. Same with paypal. They eat up the amount that is supposed to add up in what you can send.
