Both bitcoin and paypal are good. I do prefer bitcoin more cause of certain reasons which include stuff like less fees.
But paypal gives the option to pay literally everywhere on the internet. So it's a tough choice but bitcoin will be over the top soon when it starts to be accepted everywhere aswell.

For almost everything I do I prefer bitcoin over paypal simply because paypal has such a bad customer experience.
Randomly freezing funds asking for verifications chargeback money cases etc etc. But sometimes your forced to use paypal to buy somethign you want.
thats the good and bad things from paypal as they keep your account safe by doing more security verification unlike bitcoin its easy to use anonymously and transaction can be done right away without hassle. |

If You want to make sure that you are using the right things for the right moment you need to make sure that paypal is only used for online payments and btcoins only used for investments.
I don't really think so,bitcoin is a currency that normally being used to be trading tool,to buy stuff,digital goods,etc and actually was not made for investment or any kind of it even though the volatility really make bitcoin can be used as investment but saying that bitcoin only good to be used for investment is definitely not right |

Paypal is more known and you can use it everywhere to pay digitally. But bitcoin is way better except that you can't use it everywhere. Because paypal freezes funds and takes fees for transactions. Bitcoin doesn't do any of those.

If you know where to use it for you would pick them both because they are both meaned for other things as you know the paypal is for online payments and the bitcoin is more for people who liked to get rid of their coins;.

It depends because paypal is really good in terms of shopping in my own idea because it simply involves FIAT. Unlike bitcoin in which sometimes confirmations of the payment may take time for some hours.

I have saw paypal freezing accounts from more trusted and more verified companies also(where i have worked) and they reason was only sending money to high number of people. That is just nonsense for a bigger company(payment processor) like paypal. because of these reasons I do not like it. |

In paypal you have to disclose all you identitys and you have to give your identity proofs , in paypal transaction reverse is very famous to scam. and i personally saw paypal and the procedure of it is very bad. and their charges also heavy.
In bitcoin you dont have to disclose your identitys , you can just create a hardware or online web wallet and give your wallet address where ever you want to receive or pay the bitcoins. the transaction charges are also less. and more it is irreversible, and about converting to fiat currency their are so many exchanges where you can convert it one is like localbitcoins.com which is having so many user who are ready to buy or sell and do transaction through bank transfer.
But you have more protection using Paypal. You can reverse a payment if you are scammed by somebody else. IF you need to choose between that two you need to think about the people who loved to use bitcoins but paypal is many times saver to use so witch one will you use? |

Personally I like bitcoin better but for me it's still required to have paypal cause bitcoin can't do some things paypal can yet.
But I like bitcoin more cause of the no fees and no trouble with transactions. Sometimes paypal freezes your account so randomly and requires verification which takes ages.
Yeah i would also choose bitcoin because of the fast transaction and can be an investment but just like you said there are things btc cant do, so i still have paypal although i rarely use it. I have paypal too and I also use bitcoin and I like bitcoin more for transactions etc indeed but sometimes you can only pay with paypal online because they don't have a bitcoin payment method that often so then I am forced to use paypals bad system which I really don't like. |
