Ethereum could be a good coin to buy. You have the choice of buying the  ETH or the ETC. Both are good.

When it comes to the price, yeah ETC and ETH are the ones that is best to buy, as you can gain profit from it. But, I think it is not best to long trade because we are not assured if the glitch was completely fixed with the Hard Fork. I think DRACO or CJ is best because the developers are currently responding to those queries and they are constantly updating how the project is going. I think that is a good indication that the coin will last and is safe to Hold for a Long trade.

For the long term holding or usage, it is better to buy the ETH as it has the support from Vitalik and big community.

I don't trust anything that starts with ET(H/C), they just for short term investment, I don't bother putting a big amount for the long term as I don't see they will have a good future unlike bitcoins. Other altcoins that are new now are just waiting for a due time to pump so we should focus on the better once like lisk and waves.

You might be right. The ETC's fate depends on the intention of the hackers. If they dump, there is no future.

I have read about sys before and I like that marketplace where we can transact easily but I think it has not gain the trust of the people yet, my statement is based on the current price of sys which does not really increase consistently.

It is both actually, but funsponge was talking about the coin I believe.
I doubt you will find much about rolling peg by googling it. It has never existed before. Funspunge is wrong about this being used by the banks.

The trouble with traditional pegs, or hard pegs, is that they tend to break. The last big one was the swiss franc. And when they break it can do quite a lot of damage. A lot of countries have therefore started to use a more flexible "peg". This is what BitBay is doing too. Only BitBay is able to do it much more efficiently than countries because it can change the money supply instantly whereas countries must do it over months and years. BitBay's peg also gives gives a new advantage called "user value protection" (UVP). Actually I wouldn't recommend invest in any other altcoin, because most of them don't have any important thing to contribute and they have only been developed as pump and dump schemes to speculate and raise money. So it is enough with your current worth of bitcoin as a very profitable investment in the long run.

Not all of them to be fair, you can still find a good altcoins like waves and lisk which has not boom yet. ETH as of the moment cannot get my trust due to the market movement which is hard to predict its future.

ETC is extremely cheap and being dumped on purpose to keep it cheap, once ETH whales run out of supply the price naturally double, pretty easy way to get your money x2.

I mine the ETC when it is more profitable to mine. I will not keep it. I just sell it to the people who want it.
