ethereum is not going to die. it may even surpass the rest of the token. look around and see that a lot of tokens today exist in the eth network. if eth will die, they would have to rethink of moving to another network which is a tedious task and so these companies aren't going to allow eth to die.

Right but i'm saying ethereum is not profitable for investment from my perspective.

We are all in crypto to make money! That's why the majority of us buy it! So pick crypto we think will make the biggest gains in a set time!

I have picked Bitbay as a coin im investing heavliy in 2017. Trustless smart contracts. Cold staking (crypto 1st!) and a decentralised market alll about to be complete. Next it will be on a rolling peg (another crypto first)

 All this development and only has a MK of under $1m.  I'm banking on this jumping into a top30 coin Easy and a MK of over $10m. Ether hasn't achieve anything like this yet and they have $50m & a whole team of developers!

People will move to coins with actual working tech rather than funny meme pointless coins. . . Why invest in namecoin which has nothing going for it and has no development going on when you can invest in coins like bitbay, syscoin waves etc! You think hedge funds/venture capitalists etc  looking at investing billions of dollars in the close future will care about funny dogefaced coins? They only invest on product not promises!

you mean you didn't buy eth when it dip down to 0.007 recently and then back to 0.012 btc?
that's some you  would see from time to time on eth, you should look at it every day where it goes because thats when you need to trade. it has prove its existence already and its network are getting busy for its being used and will be used constantly.

i will take a look with xmr, eth, etc, zec, dcr, because i think these type of coins is very often to gets up and down and there is a positive signal to make good movements in the market. if my feeling is good to buy, then i will buy, and so far, i think i am make a profit but its not big profit and i think its good for me.

The problem with ETH is it's an inflationary currency, just like ZCash. Who wants to buy a coin that is going to keep adding new coins at a faster rate that the price can sustain?
And in the case of ETH i think the supply is unlimited, it will always keep creating some coins... that isn't a smart investment.

ICONOMI and Antshares. Especially ICONOMI has a huge uptrend potential.

Also, KOMODO which hasn't been released yet. The ICO ended a few weeks ago.

These are some nice altcoins I 'm trading on the exchange. it brings back more profitable than the other altcoin coins.
I can add chronobank . it's very interesting coin and ICO launching is about 42 days left.

Ethereum could be a good coin to trade.

I think it's only temporary. as ETH is only a sign that every time he would die.

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

Try to look on ARDOR, it's pretty interesting and ambitious project.

Those three are my choice either, monero, ltc and eth. I have some of it already and I don't have plans on selling it as of now.

Just like what I'm doing with my bitcoins, I just hold it and waiting for some right time on selling it. Since its marketcap now is becoming bigger.

For sure it's price will increase also signifying that its demands is increasing too.

In terms of what? I would call it extremely expensive for a coin that isn't developing anything and it falling further and further behind other altcoins daily in terms of development & technology. On the other hand the altcoin that are doing things are not being recognised or rewarded/bought by investors and the crypto websites only have Bitcoin in their vision. My advise would be to look at these coins as a good buy. Over the coming years these are the altcoins that will gain momentum as people shift from 'well marketed coin' with no actual product,  to coins that have actual value and technology  behind them. Bitbay, syscoins,countyparty etc etc.

I haven't tried buying ETC but there are some alt coins that I wanted to try. And I guess KMD is doing pretty good and its ICO became successful.

Also I think that ICN is going to make itself on the good trend as many investors are getting their sight into it.

I'll just wait for some updates for it.

For me it is etherium (classic and ETH), Lite Coins, Monero and any other that is highly traded and would still live a long time. And also wait for these coins' prices to drop before buying them as they are really the coins where traders flock to when bitcoin prices are dropping. So expect that you would generate profit when bitcoin prices are dropping.

I'm very interesting in some altcoins , They are XMR, Zcoin, FCT .  I expect it will have some good news to shock all investors.
I also invested to Komodo ICO Project and I think this project will be potential in this year.
