Bitcoin can not replace fiat

Actually I think BTC replacing cash doesn't seem something to happen right now,maybe after BTC highly grows it's market and the people who use it,also all stores have to accept BTC which they don't as of now.The whole payment infrastrucuture have to be handled around BTC and as time goes by it may happen,but it strongly depends on the BTC growth and how fast it happens.

I doubt it if those things that you've mentioned would happen since most of the big transactions done anywhere in the world is done using fiat and banks also keeps on improving it..I think fiat will still be fiat and nothing change that, it's impossible for bitcoin to replace fiat... Online shops, banks, and government run offices also process payments using fiat with the use of banks, they could transfer money from one end to other with no problem, and right now they are into improving those processes for the betterment... In short, that's impossible...

Agree that bitcoin can only use in online transactions and fiat is much usable in our daily living even though we can do more profit in bitcoin and it will be more popular in the future fiat is still remain in the world.

Indeed, it would still remain and  fiat couldnt be  replaced  by any  digital currency  out there  even  bitcoin. As you said bitcoin is  only used  online  transaction  maybe there are some   merchants  do accept  in physical form  but its not  fully adopted  to be  considered  to  be succesful  just  like  on  fiat.

yes , still it is right that the bitcoin can't replace fiat but i think it will atleast results in the less use of fiat . because globally popularity of bitcoin increases so it is to say easy that less person will use fiat .

All of what you say will still end up with one conclusion. Is bitcoin really that popular now? It is crawling when it comes to addition of new users. We have a really slow adaption I dont think we will get to that in our lifetime. It needs a bigger impact or advertusement.

Bitcoin and fiat are both exisrt out of the same thing and that is dollars fiat has other users than bitcoin because the value of fiat is really high only rich people are using them right now not very pleased to buy fiat.

Yes, it is not possible, bitcoin can't replace into fiat, as it is bitcoin is good for us, we can use in trading and so many others ways where we are using the bitcoins, we also need fiat for bitcoin's price.

I also think bitcoin can't replace fiat purely because bitcoin is lacking the foundation that fiat has and the manpower behind it.
Too many powerful people rich on fiat already it will not be going anywhere anytime soon.

Competitor sounds good but still there are a lot to consider. First is the physical thing. Most of the society tends to believe in something they can really see physically and touch. That case will be a lot of problem for bitcoin. So it is still a no go.

for me a fiat currency has become a liability. especially in an area there are not able to accept the technology. they still apply the traditional system which in fact uses fiat as the primary payment media.

It will not take decades because it will not happen, there is no way only bitcoin will rule in the world, so what will happen for this non regulated coins? Maybe there will be a big chaos that is going to happen as whales might manipulate the price base on their favor and we do not want to be a victim of them.

I agree with you though bitcoin will be popular and used by many stores as a payment option, but I'm sure that bitcoin will not be able to replace fiat, I think bitcoin is nothing but as a payment option or commodity investment alone will not likely replace fiat
