I think Bitcoin will never replace money. The fact is a huge transformation which it has to last really long.
Some people do not even know what Bitcoin is.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Yes maybe for now you really are many people who do not know bitcoin, but over time many people will certainly know bitcoin and I'm sure with it. Moreover, there are enough who adopt bitcoin, but I also do not know whether bitcoin can replace money. I know it's very difficult. |

There is no way that it will ever happen. Fiat is much better and Bitcoin really needs to do something big for it to overtake fiat. |

Bitcoin may be used equal to local money, but replacing won't happen even if there is mass adaption for bitcoin. Bitcoin has been in its growing level, so sometimes it may overcome our predictions

Personally, I say no in this decade. Nowadays, bitcoin still needs other physic currencies to be able to used. I think bitcoin is same with other online currencies like paypal. They can be used as alternative payment method, but they still can't replace FIAT because they still need internet connection to be used as normal.
Another thing is government regulation. Many governments still ban bitcoin in their country or state because they don't want bitcoin spread in their country. Bitcoin won't be used as global currency if there's country which ban bitcoin for it's own purpose.

Bitcoin is very different with paypal, paypal using the dollar while using its own currency bitcoin. Ya might need to change the length that could be currency bitcoin. Now in some places to buy goods directly can use bitcoin, how to conduct transactions directly using bitcoin? Because I place no purchases using bitcoin.
Nowadays has developed, which initially buy goods directly can only be used with the currency and credit cards, and can now use bitcoin although only in some places. Is it possible that the next few years means of exchange for transactions money initially turned into bitcoin?
What do you think about this?
this will never happen! i dont why some people saying that bitcoin will replace money? is it because when bitcoin is being use world wide fiat will left out, bitcoin may become popular in the future but fiat money will stay whether you like it or not. |

It never gonna happen, Bitcoin will always gonna be niche technology used by few hipsters. If it was so amazing it will be adopted already - everywhere. Current FIAT system is rooted so hard in people's mind that we need to change whole 'what is real money' approach changed for cryptocurrencies to be regarded. |

Yeah, this time the key is the adoption of those people. if a large community adopts bitcoin. I believe will start a lot of other communities that follow, slowly bitcoin will replace fiat money |

You are wrong. I dont know but I somewhere read in the forum thread that there is a country who stopped its own currency and made bitcoin as a acceptable currency. |

yeah something big could make bitcoin-known, so that it can accelerate the bitcoin take over fiat, the key is, the price of bitcoin I think if the price goes up or explode maybe $1000/BTC, it will create bitcoin very famous |

i dont think bitcoin can replace money, bitcoin is digital currency, if anything happens to your wallet or internet all of your money will be gone
so its very risky to replacing money with bitcoin

Until we get rid of governments we're always gonna have national currencies. While there are governments there'll be tax and that'll be paid in the money they control.

although bitcoin is a great currency, i dont believe it will replace fiat currency until the mai issues are sorted out. main issues being: -the volatility in price. -the amount of time transactions take to confirm. |

maybe , someday with bitcoin we could buy something . the important thing now hopefully bitcoin currency legalized be recognized throughout the country.
Bitcoin will not replace money. It's just an alternative option of currency made available to us. I don't think it was made to replace anything. i do agree with you bitcoin is bitcoin and money is money and impossible to see bitcoin replace money but we can use bitcoin to make a money I'm a bit surprised how people seperate bitcoin and money, i consider bitcoin as money and with money we make payments? |
