Ive spoken with Yobit, and the last word a few days ago soon. I was actually asking them to reactivate XDE2, and FLY. They DID reactivate xde2, and said Fly would be reactived soon. Bluetrade is working fine. We are looking into the code to see what is triggering these false positives.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Both Avast and my antikeylogger recognize this new version as a threat and immediately delete it.

Also, do we have a functional exchange or not?

which wallet version? (version number, os, and bits please)

ive seen this happen in the past. sometimes avast stopped me from opening wallets. it would start them up. but as soon as the UI was about to come up, it would close them (including bitcoin) by killing the process. couldnt figure out why. i used a VM until they released new virus definitions. then it stopped doing it

edit: what AV do you use?

The last AV version, 12.3, Avast Internet Security.

I have tried to install the latest wallet version, the one from Vegas website 2.4.1.0

Pls fix this, I do trust all of you but website and wallets get hacked and I DO NOT install anything which is not 100% safe. Avast, I ve seen that being false positive before, buy key logger, never. This is new even for me.

 Cool

Kiklo this is the issue that will be addressed soon. I dont want to accuse anyone of anything. I need to get the facts. Once I have more information, I will post it. The source is clean. A binary was given to us that contained a coinstealer trojan. Limex dev recompiled from the source and a clean version is posted below. It has the typical "bitcoin miner" they all have. Thats normal.

Here is the clean copy of V2.4.3 that only has the typical bitcoinminer: www.bitcoinlasvegas.net/files/FlyCoin-qt.exe

Not accusing anyone of anything, odds are high it is merely a false positive , which is why all you have to do is directly submit it to the antivirus vendors and they will remove the flags within a day or so. That is what the 2 bottom links in my post are for.  Wink

Ill simply say we got 2 different results. We were given a windows binary of fly wallet V2.4.3 that contained a "coinstealer" trojan according to virus total, then a different dev compiled a windows binary from the exact same source (untouched), and it did NOT have the coinstealer virus when scanned with virus total. So, everyone can draw their conclusions from that. The response from the person that gave us the binary with the coinstealer should be VERY VERY interesting, as I can only come up with one logical explanation. Everything Ive just said was witnessed by myself, Metamorphin, Woody, and Limexdev.

Some of team fly were concerned this may hurt the trust of fly. My policy is to protect the users and be straight, even if the truth might be ugly. So, it was my duty to warn everyone. I sat for over an hour an PMed over 50 users and warned them. I will continue to protect the users of fly. Always have, always will. I just didnt think I would have to scan the binaries of fly <sigh>. At the end of the day, I did the right thing and protected the users, and thats what matters. I believe there is no one that cares more about their users in crypto than me.

I went ahead and reported the one that was showing up as a coin stealer to Kaspersky.
They will take a closer look at it and either confirm it is infected or mark it as clean.
I check in a few days and if it is no longer flagged, then you know your 1st dev to compile is innocent and it was just a false positive.
If it is still flagged in a few days, then the 1st dev will have some splainin to do.

Just strange how the binary from dev#1 had a coinstealer, then dev #2 compiles a windows binary from same exact source and does NOT have a coinstealer virus. I can only come to one conclusion. Im trying to find other possibilities, but I cant.  Frankly Im sick to my stomach and heading to bed.

@vegas - I did a time consuming scan of all of my drives last night with Avast and Malwarebytes.  Nothing turned up fishy in my Flycoin folder.  With that said - I never downloaded wallet 2_4_3.  My last wallet download was 2_4_2.

It was also in 2.4.3 in the binary you gave to me to distribute. 1st I hope this is a misunderstanding. But it does need to be explained. You gave us 2.4.3. It had the coin stealer virus, then Limexdev recompiled 2.4.3 from your source again, and it was clean. Also this was no false positive as whitnessed by woody and I, when the flywallet launches, it actually disabled our antikeylogger. It was the only wallet with this kind of behavior. How is this possible?
