Freetrade is famous for abandoning his work but with HOdl I think he should make an exception  Smiley

The coin needs to get back to making sense. Maturity 1 year is nonsense. Deposits are fine. Lack of decent miner- shame.
How about creating a development fund where all HOdlers can participate? Making coin successful will raise the value and thus it will motivate devs to enhance the code, if they are paid from such fund.

I don't think HOdl is dead, it just need a right amount of electricity to come back to life Cheesy

Agree, I don't think neither that this coin is already dead. It had some unpopular decisions in the past, but it's definitely not dead yet, mabe in coma. Someone should take it back to life and bring new features/purpose to the coin.

The decision to rescind the 1 year hodling requirement has already been made per nutocracy vote.  Fuzzbawls and Freetrade have agreed to code that change and some fixes but time to do so has not been available.  If you can do that coding yourself by all means please jump in and submit.  I wish I could do it myself.

This is exciting news! I can't wait to see what this coin can do after making it through that fork.  So glad I didn't decide to dump all my coins  Smiley

Any news, when optiminer.pl pool we be live again?
I did not find an other pool.

Solo-mine with the wallet.  The difficulty is low enough that you will get plenty just doing that.

my wallet did mine at 34h/s is this enough also ?? or is not recommended??

Solo mining @ low hashrate is almost solely depend on luck.  The low difficulty helps increase your chance of solving a block.
My 20th anniversary dual core Pentium hashes @ 20h/s.  On a good day, I find 2 to 3 blocks - big fat zero on a bad day - so good luck on your 34 h/s.

Hey optiminer - does your miner work on the new AMD Ryzen cpu?

If so, what is the expected hashrate?

Did anyone ever make any progress exporting the HOdl'ed coins list in the wallet into a CSV or something similar?  The list is totally unmanageable inside the wallet.  Is there a file in the HOdl directories that contains this data in any form?

Hey, just wanted to let the fellow hodlers know that I am nearing completion of a big project I've been working on, and after that timeblock is freed up then I am going to try to teach myself some of the stuff it would take to start working on this coin. I've been wanting to help but just been too busy. Hopefully that will change soon. Is anyone else here considering a bit of learning in order to help? Maybe we could try solving shit between a few of us who have more time but less skill? I personally will have to start all the way at the bottom just to figure out what the dev env looks like and how to get it setup locally. If nothing else, at least I'll learn more about crypto along the way.  Cool

Those who time-locked for a year at the beginning are certainly starting to see their deposits unlock with the added interest.  However, it's more of a continuous progression of more and more available coins rather than a specific date where everything gets unleased.  Watch Fuzzbawls block explorer page to see how coins are being handled (locked vs unlocked) as time goes on and how many are coming up on unlock blocks (as mentioned previously the date is immaterial, it's the block height that determines when a coin unlocks).

As several HODL'ers have noted, they are seeing their coins unlock but are re-locking them immediately, usually due to the low price/demand.  I would expect this practice to continue to be the case until the price rises to a reasonable level.  That is, they have little to gain at the moment by dumping their coins on the market, so they are biding their time and continuing to take advantage of the bonus interest.

I'm very glad to see the price rising as I am very interested in seeing this coin succeed.  That said, I would not read too much into the price rise at the moment.  The fairly dramatic drop in btc price recently naturally (I think) improves the exchange rate of btc/hodl so that number is rising.  Also, according to CMC the 24hr volume is all of $84.00 USD.  At that volume and the current price any random investor looking to grab a nice stake in HODL can do so easily for $100 and relatively dramatically affect the price.  It is a nice daily incremental climb which bodes much better for the stability of the price than a big swing upward, and it looks to be the first climb like that in a while, so I'm optimistic.  But I'm not going to really pay much attention until it breaks into the $0.01 range again.
