I love this coin. I have been staking for some time now up to 4 million 1337 now but still want more. Need more weight Smiley There a lot of people staking so increasing weight would be a very good idea.

how many hours a day you keep your computer on to stake?
i can open my computer only for 8 hours a day, so i miss 2/3 of my staking power per a day Sad

I keep my wallet open 24/7 and stake tens of thousands at a time. Somoike maybe 50k every now and again. I used coin control and since the new wallet came out coin control works even better. Best idea is use poswallet or an old PC. I'm planning on setting up a dedicated PC for staking wallets.

I use an intel NUC they use sod all power and can run a fair few wallets

raspberry pi's are quite good for staking too

Kiklo's Premium Blockchain Snapshot Service

Anyone that did not update their wallet before the fork date, can use the snapshot to get on the correct fork.

Be sure to update to the latest wallet 1.5.0.4-g first.
Then install the Snapshot , (Confirmed it was on the same block height as PressTab explorer.)

1337 Snapshot updated to 2016-8-26 on Wallet version 1.5.0.4-g

Once your 1337 Wallet is completely Synced.
Check your Balance, if the Balance is incorrect.
Click on Help, click Debug Window, click Console,
type in repairwallet and hit enter, then check your Balance
If Balance is still not correct.
Then From a Command Prompt run 1337-qt.exe -rescan
will take a little while but should correct your balance info.

 Cool

FYI:
Make Sure you updated to the latest wallet before the hard fork took place.
If you did not update to the latest wallet, you are staking on the wrong fork.
Current Wallet Version 1.5.0.4-g

So is nobody buying 1337 anymore? Seems like every time I look on one of the exchanges there are zero buy orders there haven't been any in like a week. Everyone is selling but nobody is buying. Kind of makes me nervous that if I wanted to start selling some of my coins there isn't going to be anyone to buy them.

I spend at least 0.001 btc a day at yobit on 1337, its not a lot but it all helps.
there's normally someone who gobbles up the 1 sat coins not sure where they're at but maybe the btc price increase has something to do with it

true, a coin that worth 1 satoshi, is a coin to hold until the price will go up.
maybe you will be able to sell it back but your coins will have to stay months on the exchange site until that happen and by doing it you will waste staking time.

I'm like you as I spend my satoshi I earn from faucets on 1337 coins every week to help this coin, It's only around 100,000 1337 coins I buy each week but it's better then nothing. I also think it has something to do with the recent increase in BTC price as this always happens to Alts once the BTC price starts moving up. For now I'll continue to stake and buy coins each week with my faucet earnings.

There is always people buying this coin so I don't think we need to worry when it comes time to sell. Just as long as the dev is active and the community supports the coin, I think we'll be fine. Just purchased another 100k from the sats I earned from a few faucets.

I use BTC faucets, LTC faucets and Dogecoin faucets and a couple of Altcoins faucets and then sell for sats and buy 1337 coins. Just look in the micro earnings thread to find many different faucets to earn from. Moonbitcoin is my favorite as you can earn every 5 minutes and also Freebitcoin is a nother good BTC faucet to earn from. I hope this helps answer your question. And by using the faucets earnings and then you buy 1337 coins you are helping to support the coin and community.

We have to report an issue we faced with this coin.
We made many attempts to sync it during last 2 months but every time we end up with blockchain stuck at certain block or sync into wrong fork. Tried to sync from scratch, with or without our wallet.dat, tried several servers but each time we was not able to finish syncing successfully. Coin developer gave us blockchain files which we were able to use but every time our wallet stuck after syncing a few blocks after given blockchain and never goes further. Our debug.log file always spamming "Orphan block" nomatter what wallet.dat we use - blank or ours.

Developer refuse to fix this issue so we have to ask community if someone has similar problems or knows a solution. We run our 1337 daemon o Linux Debian x64.

I've been running the qt wallet on linux mint for months, as yet no issues.

Yobit seem to manage, you could try talking to them maybe?

are you running a wallet on the latest source code? cause there was a new wallet released and from the sound of it i would have to guess and say no, cause if no one else is having issues but you are then you are not running the latest wallet
