1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016

It's already 2016$ and I don't think this is going to happen unless we are at least couple of months behind the halving block reward or after it .

That is not going to happen in 2016 we still have 6 months left in 2016. We are not even halve way there so for the price to be 1000 with in 6 months is pretty unlikely. We need allot more time then that.

It will take some time for the bitcoin to rise to $1000. But it mainly depends on the mass adoption of the coin.

We are already at 500 as we start the 2nd half of the year. Let's see what the halving can do to push the price of bitcoin even further.

That is not going to happen and that is because the value of the Bitcoin was down and it was also stable for a long time so the time must be soon to rise so we can earn profit.
And it takes a long time until the value will be higher because the halving will also come soon but it wont be that nice to the Bitcoin.

As i think it is quite hard to say it is going to hit $1000 by the end of this year but with current movement as like it is growing more faster than ever, i think $800 would be wonderful achievement if it get stable price for this floor.

$1000 does look difficult to achieve, but if the current prices never fall, and continued to increase until the end of the year it might happen. but I have the feeling that the $1000 would come in the year 2017-18

1000$ isn't achievable in 2016 I think, but maybe it will level up to 550-600$

No. We are going to experience the magical thousand dollars level within this year itself. All the thanks to second halving we are going to experience that. The price fluctuations may take some rest in between but is very much possible to hit $1000 before the end of this year.

The halving only will not get bitcoin price to $1000. The block size increase by SegWit could have that effect.

The halving will only make the price to be around $800. If there is a financial crisis, the price could be $2000 or higher.

Well all these are just personal opinions, but I also think that bitcoin seems ready to arrive to those levels. It is not difficult to see a bullish and consistent trend that could lead the price to $1000 in a couple of months.

Why is everyone throwing around $800 for. There is no technical reason as to why btc should be there, no floors, no ceilings. $1200 makes much more sense.

I am happy if the price reaches $900 to 1000 by the end of the year. That is the double of last year's price.
