I do believe bitcoin is able to reach this amount this year. It's just a matter of when.
I believe that if it doesn't happen before halving, it will happen after.
Then again, it's hard to tell because I don't like to have high expectations and then be let down when it doesn't happen.
For now I'll be in the background and watch it happen.
I dont believe it too. It will be a very low price in 2016. It takes time to rise it later and for that it will be more worth. We need patience. And maybe we must going to invest now, because it has a low price now. But we dont know what can happen in the future. |

We are already in the 2nd month of 2016. Hope bitcoin will reach 1000 in this year.. If it will happen than there is nothing better then that.. Especially for peoples who stored their bitcoins and waiting for increasing rates.

We are already in the 2nd month of 2016. Hope bitcoin will reach 1000 in this year.. If it will happen than there is nothing better then that.. Especially for peoples who stored their bitcoins and waiting for increasing rates.
after prices $400 below in the last several weeks seems the price back to rise up and currently the price in range $416-$420 but for reach to $1000 i'm so doubt it would happen in this year but my predictions for the highest price in 2016 is $800 |

1000$? Not real i think, it just can't go from 400$ to 1000$ in less than year, yes, halving WILL increase price, but not so much

Waiting eagerly for it to happen I also think reaching $1000 this year is a bit too difficult. I aim at $700 for the high before the block halving. If it reaches $1000 which is certainly possible, then it will trigger a massive amount of people that will secure their profits before it's going down again. |

Yeah, its true, bitcoins price might really reach $1000 this year, might be before the year end and possibly earlier if one great news come in.. i agree. $1000 is very much a possible price and history shows that it can happen too. we just need an initiation and it will happen so quickly too. |

Yeah, its true, bitcoins price might really reach $1000 this year, might be before the year end and possibly earlier if one great news come in.. $1000 is possible, but for that to happen we need a huge load of speculation plus good sentiment to reach it. beside that, the bitcoin price doesn't get affected by good news anymore. it might have had an impact back in 2013 and 2014, but definitely not anymore nowadays. |

I dont think that will happen so fast. It is going to rise slowly I think. And you dont know how much it is going to rise.
Maybe it just take time to rise that value. Or later it is going to fall. You never know what can happen in the future with Bitcoin, because it is a currency.

If there is something else that is Bitcoin-positive happening this year, e.g., block size agreement, then we may talk about going higher. Otherwise, $1k price is a dream that has nothing to do with reality. |

I think bitcoin will reach $1000 either before or after halving, but certainly not during. We all have our own opinions so we all have to wait and see. Nothing is set in stone when it comes to bitcoin. |

Halving will double the price. The block size increase will also increase the price, it will attract more users. |

Seems quite possible to me. I do think that this is possible to happen in 2016.
It's just a matter of when this year. I believe it will be after halving.

I think most people will instantly dump at $1000 as last time it got that high people kept there bitcoins before the price crashed right back down again.
If they go anywhere close to $1000 again i will sell mine to get my profit out as i doubt they can go higher then $1000 anytime soon.
Don't worry. Many will start dumping as soon as it crosses $500. Getting a chunky 100% return in less than a year is very attractive. That is why, we can forget about going anywhere close to $1k in the next few months. Unless we have a real game changer, apart of halving of course. |
