I don't think that bitcoin make disappear. Though I know there is a possibility to be happen. But in this point of time bitcoin is in the stage of due process of popularity. I do believe a years from now it will become a well known digital currency worldwide, because of its benefits for the users and advantage too.
It is really impossible to believe that bitcoin is going to make the banks to disappear because we all know that banks are important to a country. And it is impossible that the banks are going to allow bitcoin to make them liquify easily because of bitcoin instead the banks have the power to make bitcoin to disappear. |

Banking Industry will not disapear. They will adapt to new technology, even cryptocurrencies. When all people use cryptocurrency , of course the bankers will put a lot of investment in cryptocurrencies so the technology of banking will follow the developpment of cryptocurrency.
Why would bank use cryptocurrency? They cannot control it, it is the exact opposite of bank where they operate base on trust while crypto is trustless. I think banks will not disappear though even if crypto become the major thing. Yeah they definitely won't make money from it. People only use banks for loans and to store money. You can store Bitcoin yourself which is also much more secure and you can get loans from people on this forum if you want. |

Bank will never go away . BTC is not complete alternate to the banking services which bank rendered that bank can disappear.
Yes there may be some shift happening as an when gradually bank starts using the blockchain technology so make the transfer faster and more easier way.

You said the exact thing dude, banks would never disappear and government wouldnt allow that thing to happen for sure and theres no connection on a cryptocurrency no a bank hence banks would not benefit from bitcoin at all hence they could not able to control it. |

In future, when bitcoin will dominate in sending - receiving - depositing funds kind of bank works, I believe banks will start different type of banking like providing safe vault or mortgage kind of services alone. Banks will fall.
I think you're free to think about the future of bitcoin, but when fiat continues to be the main currency in the world and in every country, it will not be possible for bitcoin to be able to make the banks disappear, one thing is certain that if bitcoin want to beat the bank, they have to beat fiat first |

It's a dangerous development, but they trust Bitcoin even less due to the media. it's almost funny to see that the older generation try to avoid banks because they are operated by people gambling with their money on the financial markets, and that they avoid bitcoin due to the fact that it doesn't have a central authority. so yes, they end up holding large amounts of cash money, or they are hoarding gold as that is the only thing left for them to "trust". |

A man can adopt on a certain situation if it is what was needed, so even if they don't know how to use bitcoin, for sure if it is the thing that is used by everyone, they will eventually learn about it. Just like cellphones, before this touch screens arrive, there are those old models and the telephone, but since everyone's into new cellphones, so the old people learn about it too. But anyway, even if everything go digital, there is no way that banks would fold, they have been there and tested by time.  |

Yeah I couldn't agree more with you, bank has a big power , i think bitcoin is impossible to make bank disappear. Because the most of people more believe with bank rather than bitcoin. But when bitcoin can develops in features and more user, bitcoin wil compete the bank. |

Thinking bitcoin can make banks dissappear is maybe a little bit too ambitious but it can make banks lose money ofcourse I think it's already doing that.
Ofcourse banks don't feel the pain yet but when it gets more globally adopted then they will feel the pain for sure.
Ofcourse banks don't care about bitcoin and bitcoin needs bank if you are going to choose between that two you choosen the right one the banks  and it is more okay if you people are going to choose bank than bitcoins then Bitcoin cannot be used anywhere at a moment physically and to spend them we need to sell them and convert it to fiat currency and for that we need banks for transaction. In the future i believe that bitcoin can be used anywhere in the country hoping this will make happens so that we can freely used our bitcoin to shop online and we can easily convert our coins into fiat currencies because now in my country i use bitcoin wallet that i can really save my bitcoin into bank |

There are definitely similarities, but a very important aspect as to why people prefer Bitcoin over anything, is the fact that you can operate and store your money outside the current banking system. This is a major selling point for Bitcoin as it will gain more appreciation and popularity in the coming years. Just wait for it. People are tired from banks playing boss over their hard earned money. Bitcoin is already, and will continue to be a great alternative. |
