Bitcoin could make Banks disappear only if it would spread globally and be a global currency which would be used in every single country in the world if you mean disappear everywhere. But that will unfortunately never happen and probably, if it happened, someone would make Bitcoin banks so it would be all the same again.
Bitcoin is becoming popular in the world but i think it will not accepted as a global currency because it is not as much strong to disappear other currency and become global currency. maybe your reason is wrong, for me, bitcoin is made became a companion of the real currency or similarly we called them money. can make us never doubt and worried with the distance for making any transaction. |

Banks are doing too much work fighting against bitcoin. Which makes it hard for bitcoin to compete with them. People want them to dissapear but banks are just too powerfull Of course banks are going to do that. Because if they are not going to fight against bitcoin. They are going to lose some clients that are loyal to them. And going to try the use of bitcoin. And when they have experienced the use of bitcoin in convenience for sure they are going to recommend it again to the other bank users. |

And if that is going to happen that is many years before it is going to happen. Because banks are really important for a country. Without it the country is going to be poor on managing the wealth of a country. So they are really important and it can't be disappear. |

Before asking this question whether btc can replace bank or not.we should check world literacy rate in case of digital currency.
Lets take the current scenario, more than 2/3 of the world(approx) do not about btc(sorry to say but it is true fact).yes btc is rapidly increasing in progress but cant replace the bank.
Bank may take pay payment in the form btc or alt coin.
Note-do not ask for proof as it cant be calculated.

i dont think that bitcoin can make banks disappear, because still the bank that offer something that bitcoin can't match like fast support and guaranteed money keep. and lot of older people nowadays that still thinking the bank is far simple than using bitcoin on internet to cooperate, because they don't want to learn how to use of internet.

I too believe that Bitcoins can disappear banks but not that fast. The banking system is trying hard to push back cryptocurrency. But this won't be happening. Banks can make bitcoins harder to access. I think eventually Banks wont be able to stand against bitcoins. |

I too believe that Bitcoins can disappear banks but not that fast. The banking system is trying hard to push back cryptocurrency. But this won't be happening. Banks can make bitcoins harder to access. I think eventually Banks wont be able to stand against bitcoins. Seriously, what makes you think that Bitcoin stand a chance against mighty banks, and indirectly the governments as they support fiat banks? Governments will never allow Bitcoin to come even close to damaging their in full control banking system. If Bitcoin comes too close, then governments will force banks to adopt new rules and policies regarding Bitcoin usage, and maybe even a total ban for companies to do any kind of Bitcoin related business. That's why I prefer Bitcoin to be and stay an alternative option to fiat currencies and banks as that will suit a lot Bitcoiners much better. |

I too believe that Bitcoins can disappear banks but not that fast. The banking system is trying hard to push back cryptocurrency. But this won't be happening. That's wrong, In my opinions if you know about the plastic card or similar with it, A lot of people relies on that to take some money from bitcoin and they always need it in every place they are. The bitcoin users are need banks too. |

Banks won't just let it happen, they are incline to upgrades too, they are always in the race with bitcoin. Bank is now getting more and more sophisticated and high tech too. In short they are also using computers and networks, just like bitcoin, so there is no way that they will be left behind by bitcoin.. |

Well,probably it is not bitcoin that they are testing in your statement and probably new cryptocurrency or other crypto that they want to run..By that, I could say that banks will still race with bitcoin in the future and won't be left behind, though it might be like they copy the technology, atleast they survive and probably that is what's going to happen in the future..I think evolution in technology won't cause banks downfall.. |

If the state is considering its monopoly on currency issue (when only the central bank can release them into circulation) as a source of income, they have something to fear - as taxi drivers in the cities, where there is Uber. However, it is not in the interests of ordinary citizens. It is better to let people choose their convenient payment systems and provide rules that protect people from fraud. In this case, the artificial barriers will be meaningless.

But bitcoin is way away from banks .Yes we love bitcoin and it is the best but can not make banks to dissapear.
Yes that is impossible thing to happen that banks are going to be disappear because of bitcoin. Because banks is really needed by people and country. But if people is going to choose bitcoin it depends on them. |
