Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?

I also think that banks will adjust within the system, they are coming from hundreds of years and are fitting continuously in any situation and time, so bitcoin will not be a big or hard challege for them.

Well disappear wont happen as they ,the banks ,has for now the costumers support,and the best place to store our money,but isnt no longer safe,several people got affected at Greece,Portugal i saw some new about a bank to get the other and looks like they had reset the ammounts people had on the previous banks,dont know the righ story but happened.Soo this kind of things will damage the banks image as their reputation ,but people will always use them .

very well put. A bank is still an institution that can survive lending money because it has some guarantees (in other words, they can fuck you up if you don't pay). I don't that working so well on decentralized money systems.
