But to buy food you need to convert your Bitcoins into fiat at the very banks you despise so you will be able to buy food and not starve to death. What will happen if grocery stores and restaurants refuse to use Bitcoin for payments. What will you do then? No country will replace its local currency with Bitcoin just because it's better in the eyes of the beholder.

This is the simple but the truthful answer.

Not a lot of stores accepts bitcoin. Specially when you are in a poor country who are risking their business for a not very popular currency yet.
Make the banks a partner in bitcoin business or let them handle the fiat exchange. Dont need to make them disappear.

It's really hard that Bitcoin makes banks disappear, because simply people still using banking services a lot more than Bitcoin till now , and also even Bitcoin this banking services to get converted into fiat

But there are lot of chances that more people will use bitcoins in future. When more people for getting into bitcoin payments, the banking system will get isolated. When the true money concept of bitcoin will get into action of attracting more people, then they will start neglecting banking system.

Not sure where you live but here where I live banks definitely not see their popularity increase.

Last 2 years here people have been saving up more cash money in their homes than in the last 10-20 years, and all this because the average person starts losing faith in the current banking system.

The positive trust of banks is only because they are old and have made trust in the people. Also people has no choice as there is no digital currency at the time when banks were there. so there was no competition.

Yes and even I don't think that banks has competition from bitcoin at a moment too, as banks are still most strongest financial institutions we have and it will be the same in future too.

Governments can be present at bitcoin already,they wont never confirm such ,as their are against .The same way they cant control bitcoin they would have to purchase all the bitcoins present on the market or atleast around 60-80% from it and i doubt they would waste their time trying to get control at bitcoin,sure they could manipulate the bitcoin price easyest then us ,but bitcoin its decentralized and must keep being .But i dont doubt someone insane will try to get control of bitcoin over the time,killing the whales between.

Yes absolutely right it can be very harmful to the survival of bitcoin. It is already clear that bitcoin could not make banks disappear and both have different portion. I think the banks are stronger than bitcoin.
