No this will never happen in my eyes because the fact is that the banks are way too big compared with the bitcoin.
I even think it will most likely be the opposite.

I think that the banks will simply coexist. There will always be people that never feel safe enough by running their own finance,s so they will feel safer if they handle it to someone else because they think they may do something stupid like losing their password or whatnot. Not everyone feels like being responsible of your own finances is a plus unfortunately.

The people who are already using bitcoin will never enter the door steps of banks as they are aware about the qualities and benefits they are getting from bitcoin which is far better then banks.
Same principle goes for those long time bank users that really enjoys benefits using this kind of financial system. Also at the same time enjoying the benefits of using bitcoin too. Far better than using bitcoin services alone. |

Yes true bitcoin can not make banks disappear, it is no longer possible. Also it could be like that you say could be the opposite. Banks have economic power in each region. Not perhaps a country does not need a bank, it's highly unlikely. |

Not perhaps a country does not need a bank, it's highly unlikely. It is appropriate if the banks disappear it will affect the economy of the country. And banks have a very important role. So banks will never disappear and bitcoin will not be able to make it disappear because it is impossible. |

So banks will never disappear and bitcoin will not be able to make it disappear because it is impossible. Banks are regulated and pay high fees to the governement soo is both interest to keep the doors open,bitcoin has no power to make them close ,maybe they can offer a service with bitcoin in the future but bitcoin able to close the most powerful companies i doubt wont happen lets be realistic. |

They are too powerful to disappear just like that. I`m sure banks will enter in blockchain world in one point, they have money to invest in what ever they wish and for sure they will try to take a piece of cake for them. I think banks are evil thing in this world and I would like them to disappear, but that can only happen if people of this world unite against their system. For now that is even hard to imagine, almost impossible in this world of constant wars. War`s for what? |

I think banks are evil thing in this world and I would like them to disappear, but that can only happen if people of this world unite against their system. For now that is even hard to imagine, almost impossible in this world of constant wars. War`s for what? Indeed. There is too much money invested and interested in keeping the banking system working exactly the way it is. There simply isn't enough money in btc yet to fight all that mammon. The banking interest permeates every facet of our lives, the banking industry is a perfect example of money wielded like a weapon, rather than a panacea. Now, they will use the parts of bitcoin that further the goals that have already been in place, but there will be no upturning of the proverbial apple cart because Mr Koch and Mr. Buffett wouldn't appreciate that too much. |

Not instantly, though definitely over time. Most people still aren't comfortable with the idea of not having tangible cash. There's still a long road ahead to worldwide adoption and unless something completely unexpected happens and forces everyone onto Bitcoin (somehow), we've still got a good 10-20 years until everyone uses it in some capacity.

Only bankruptcy can make a bank disappear even though there are lots of bank that are competing to each other the first company that will be bankrupt would surely lose on the way and will disappear after. |

Banks will never disappear, banks will always exist and if bitcoin wants to disappear banks then it will need strong and valid reason to do so which seems to be impossible at a moment.
