Hey everyone, distribution is finished!
I have 619.61746127 left in my wallet - from the staking test earlier and a 0.0005 BTC (18 WARP) test transaction I did in the beginning. Everything worked out perfectly and I am very happy! Please make sure you let the coins stake! It will take a bit until staking begins but you will make the network stronger.
Launch is a success! Now, let's move on to the next steps!

You guys don't need to donate anything. It's a bit ironic that I will try to buy WARP from you though. I hope you sell fairly once it hits an exchange. Distribution looks awesome. http://explorer.warpcoin.com/richlistStill waiting on what to do with the leftover 619.61746127 WARP. I think it's more fair if someone else runs a faucet with it. Here's a newly generated WARP address that will be my personal: WfHnWNC6ars12QdsZX2pPje8Kuqekc5tu7 But let WARP be listed on an exchange first.

An emotional bit, just because.
I find it really refreshing that you all joined in. It's great to see that it's possible to have projects developed with a strong community. We have generated a great momentum and ended up with a BTC fund that will allow further development. Thank you all for believing in me, I am ecstatic. I am so looking forward to this journey, and I can surely say you won't be disappointed. I'll be giving all I have to make WARP a truly innovative and useful cryptocurrency. Like someone said to me: "Let's make things simple for the end user". This sums up what I believe in.
Once a market exists, you can expect this thread to be filled with negative people. They will do anything to cause you doubts. Please stay strong. In doubt, contact me directly for advice, or join the community in the slack channel. I will treat all the WARP angels with great honesty and respect. I'm full on with WARP. Not everything is up to me, I also count on all of you, in the same way you have trusted me so far. We can have a brilliant future.
Let's turn crypto around. It's WARP time.

Shapetwist - Congratulations on a wonderfully executed plan. A few concerns I have may want to be considered. Since the coin is not POW and only 1% per year interest stake - I do not leave my wallet open 24/7 (for security purposes). How do we make sure that the blockchain does not stagnate or stop? Meaning - if I have to leave my wallet unlocked for staking purposes (24) hrs a day for 1% - isn't it more secure to open your wallet for staking once or twice a month for a day or two? Now if the answer to that is yes, how do we make sure that blockchain keeps moving? Maybe some sort of masternode system with limited collateral required to start a mn? Or maybe hybrid pow/pos mode like Diamondcoin? Just wondering if you think it is a problem? Sorry if my message is jumbled but I think you get the idea.

You raise good questions. It's imperial that staking happens across the network. We have a few more days until there is enough staking pressure. The blockchain will then move only by POS after block 10000. We have 122 people (slightly less - some people bought more than once) now being able to stake. I don't want to hardfork the coin just now for major changes, I believe the network can handle it. If anything happens, we will fix it. For now, just contribute with staking.
