I know you people are used to fishy stuff around here. I am not like that. I've seen implying that I deleted slack to cause panic in order to buy WARP cheaper. Seriously? If I wanted WARP cheap, I would have bought from the crowdsale, and I didn't.

Slack was deleted in sudden fury, yes that is correct, because I saw a growing concern with top holders trying to controls my own actions and decisions. I won't make the rich richer, I won't decide for their benefit. And the way they have been contributing to WARP has been close to zero.

I'm not gonna play with them anymore, no matter what they think. I am here for WARP, not for traders/speculators. There is a gigantic room for growing. 10 people are not gonna stop that.

Sorry to come back, but... in an attempt to calm troubled waters.

You could have explained this days ago, when the speculation first started.

As for people not contributing, I myself tried to. I had a (possibly stupid) idea about using sortation as a way to run the coin and I made this suggestion in direct response to your plea for more discussion. It was ignored.

Then, when it started to be mooted that you didn't like dealing with the slack and the forum here, I offered to help. Again, it was ignored.

You can't really accuse people of not contributing when you, yourself are not contributing.

As you say, people are used to fishy stuff around here, so why did you knowingly let it get out of hand? It needn't be this complicated.

Anyway, I genuinely wish you luck with your coin and I would be very pleased to see you hit a huge market cap.

What got out of hand exactly? Absolutely nothing.
There was a private/invite-only chat channel that was closed. I have been reading the thread every day, but in good conscious decided to set myself back to see the real people here.

Have you seen that I released the v1.1 wallet? Has anybody seen that actually? Is it normal for you that I have 2 or 3 feedback messages about that and 50 or 60 about slack?
I will not ride the troublemakers ride, I will not feed nonexistent problems.

I did read your suggestions, those are just that: suggestions, not contributions. If you honestly want to reach you know how to do it and you didn't.

You don't like my style, fine. I'm sure plenty other people do.

well since this whole thing started the market has shown us that more people dont like your present style than do. Since you had your tantrum on slack the price tanked by 2-300% . Market dont lie

edit:we loved your style before all this crap and im pretty sure i can speak for all the top holders , that we had no intentions of trying to control WARP in any way and fully supported you!!

And then you want to be taken seriously.. Yeah, right.

I'll ignore the blatant chronological distortion in your above post and just say....

You asked for discussion, I offered a topic:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1329494.msg14109568#msg14109568

You are asking for contributions, I offered to contribute:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1329494.msg14129607#msg14129607

If you are going to ask for things, it's only polite to respond to offers, even if it is to say they are being a fool. No one likes to be ignored.... except, perhaps you.

You seem to be asking for discussion at the same time as telling everyone to fuck off..... you can't have both.

@sussex : come one man.  Undecided

ᎳᎪᏒᏢ - Something different
A new crypto currency focused on usability and development.

@shapetwist : yes, your style is fine.

initial distribution of coins was a big concern... It looks now much better.
too many suckers and I really hope that a good % of them sold and left.

as you see shapetwist, a certain level of BCT "babysitting" is important.... but you can yourself set the params of that babysitting.
Here's a suggestion : Propose to give a weekly report/summary here (or much better at the WARP forum).

and just to follow on the "suggestions vs. contributions"... I guess that most ppl here, myself included, are waiting to see some key things, for example : working windows vpn, some transparency and proof of dedication (must say this one is better with your latest replies though), etc...

maybe a Q&A over IRC later with you and investors (with chat excerpt for those non-available) could be a great idea.. maybe not now, but you know what I mean...

keep the good work shapetwist...Like I already said few days ago, this coin have all the things to make it a major one.

have a good day.

srsly?

And what you was thinking when the price hit 60k?

Nobody cares anymore about the ico price, the ico is over, i bet over 95% already sold their ico coins.

I think under 20k (under 100k dollar marketcap) is a very good entry point to buy this coin.

Someone that bought 1 btc can now be a 15 btc sell.

It can easly go back below 10k indeed so srsly yea.

i would be surprised if it didnt

The coin was great for ICO investors and still could be great in the longrun.  This whole drama thing could have been avoided but shit happens, tempers flare.  There are a lot of interconnected parts when it comes to community, development and trading.  On a personal level I wish you would have just responded to some of the messages you got shapetwist and said anything like "I closed it permanently", anything would have been nice, but it is forgiven, you don't owe every individual attention and as it grows I suppose it is impossible to answer everything.

So is there new development news shapetwist?  I think that is what everyone is most curious about, the slack channel provided a very nice way to stay up to date with things.

@zebedee, since you deleted your post.

Let me tell you what it is to develop a coin like WARP.

It's about knowing and applying knowledge in diverse areas such as economics, backend and frontend development, man management, business management, marketing, and so forth.

What was happening was: I, as the creator of WARP and main force behind it, responsible for everything that was done so far, suggested ideas that put the richest guys in danger. The richest guys - who never wanted to help, instead kept pm'ing for inside info - didn't like to have their position in risk, so they dumped most of their coins.

Seems to me that all this issue was caused by a small group of people that didn't know how to read me. And the fact there were instant large dumps when slack channel was removed clearly states it.

I won't be biased, influenced by the needs of investors. My aim is to create a board of sensible people that actually do care about making a good project. If you have 50k coins but you can't even put a reasonable and clear thought straight, then I have no choice but to ignore your PM's.

You all complain about the price. I clearly fucking don't. Have you noticed who pumped the price in the first place? Yeah, that's right, the top 10 guys.

My job is to be the force behind WARP. I will continue to do so.
Expect some news in the coming days.

Whatever man. I don't even know if you were there.
The amount of pressure that was put to me via PM, now that a few days have passed, really feels like it was the best decision.

No, I wasn't there, that's why I was asking what had happened and was only offered rumours because you weren't to be found.

I appreciate that we have a rocky relationship at the moment, but the fact is, after seeing your posts today, I still think this might be a good coin.

With that in mind, I'll re-iterate my offer of taking some front of house duties if it helps you out - I think I'd be pretty effective at fending off the bullshit, but I understand that you most likely want me to fuck off - that's cool too.

And, just to make things clear, I never pm'd you, I wasn't an ICO buyer (got all my coins on Yobit) and I wasn't in the top ten, not even the top twenty.

I think one thing must be made clear.

The developers of Ethereum, RibbetMe, Synereo, Factom, Voxel, Radium or Warp are not working at their projects to make investors rich.

So don't bother them too much, let them dev and make their project great!

Nope, but they do regularly communicate with the investors.
