How will WARPsync work? It is cloud storage?

Where will files be hosted?

If it is a smooth coin launch and distribution, and the dev begins showing he is capable of delivering on his words, I do not think it is likely people will start dumping for less than their purchase price.

In order for anyone to conveniently buy or sell there must be an exchange but it is mentioned nowhere. And with top investor sitting on almost 50% coin supply I can easily see a major issues coming when it comes to network and double-spending. So it would be smart to extend crowdfunding for at least few more weeks and use that time to secure WARP addition to one or more exchanges.

Having one single address in control of such large supply will never going to happen. It's dangerous as you said, and besides, no worthy exchange would add the coin in that case.
I'm waiting and expecting that % of shares will even out by Thursday.

Regarding getting WARP to an exchange. I've stated that WARP should not be added until everyone gets their coins. And that Bittrex and Poloniex are the only ones that I would support - longer in business, larger userbase and volume. Besides, I don't see any worthy exchange agreeing on listing a coin before being distributed. But I'm certain they are aware of the coin, and if they see enough interest, they will most probably add it real soon, especially Bittrex.

I think if others feel warm and fuzzy about Warp they will hop on board.  I took a position and will wait to see what is going to happen.  I really hope everything comes to fruition.  I think this concept is AWESOME!  Also, the percentage will breakup quite nicely when more people add their support.

It's not technically cloud storage since the files are not uploaded to a cloud.
It's direct P2P communication with other device that you agree to add. Your own device, or someone else that you trust.

I want to give a small reward for somebody that creates a WARP version of www.bitaddress.org

You can find the github here: https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org

Feel free to PM about details and to request images.

Block Explorer is live:

http://explorer.warpcoin.com/
It looks very practical. Are you going to redesign it a little bit to make it look similar to blockain.info? Smiley

Quick edit: it would be awesome if we could get an online wallet going as well!

I'd like to have it customized yes, not necessarily similar to blockchain.info, but to represent WARP branding.
For now it's just using a template, slightly tweaked, provided by bootswatch.

It's supposed to be practical so people can look up transactions. But surely I want to make it more appealing!

EDIT: online wallet is going to happen, yes. dual wallet, bitcoin and warp.

Just wondering if there are thoughts for a mobile wallet? even a v1.0 mobile wallet lacking the main features of the proposed 2.0 pc wallet would be great Smiley Im a big fan of keeping my coins close  Cheesy

Will look at the budget and establish priorities. It's definitely something I'd like to offer.

I see you don't have a signature, if you want to support and earn a little btc, there's a small signature campaign for WARP: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1340071
If not, that's fine too Smiley

Bought 25 shares of the BitNodes WARP node: https://bitnodes.net/services/crowdfunding/warp-node/
So there's only 20 shares left.

Nodes are important to support the network, plus Bitnodes offers a Block Explorer for a year, and we need a third-party explorer on top of our own.

Also, remember when we launch, it's important to let your coins mature and stake!

Good job buying some shares for the node.
I thought the coins would be mature right when we start on launch ?

Not from launch, but by the time POS kicks in.
Just receive your coins and let the stake begin! It's important to stake for the network stability Smiley

GO WARP GO!!

edit
So considering we're now at ~8.3 BTC (congrats by the way) I'm assuming warp is a go? I know there was discussion a few pages back about expected minimum investments for features to be feasible.

side note, would I be correct in assuming that WARPOS (should it come to fruition) will be a *nix based distro? Or are you thinking something new outta left field? lol

If someone in the community is willing to donate a vps for the cause, I can build a basic BE.... free of charge. Which, after build, I would turn over to whomever the WARP community decided was fit for the position.
