25 txs per block ? well ... what if there will be 1000s transactions per minute?
1000 tx cost about $10 at ICO prices and $100 at IOU prices in network fees. At this moment it takes about 7 minutes to resolve 1000 tx. That means the network will be very busy for that time, but the attack becomes very expensive after a while. After the tx are all processed, we are back to normal.  Over the next months the LISK price goes up (attack becomes more expensive) and the maximum tx per block is higher. Resulting in an even more expensive attack. E.g. if the price goes to 50ct per LISK and the block size will be increased to 100 tx per block, 1000 tx cost $50 and take 100 seconds to resolve. That means making the Lisk network unusable for 10 hours will cost someone $18000. 100 tx per block is by far not the end. More are definitely possible. We also might introduce the use of an optional higher fee or a split of tx per block (old and new ones). There are many possibilities here. I think the tx fee of 0.1 LISK in mainnet is expensive slightly. |

 This is why most missed the Lisk ICO. People were too busy watching ETH price instead of looking ahead into the future. Lisk is TOTALLY UNDERVALUED AT CURRENT ICO PRICE! Yeah I totally agree! Canabanana for the win! #GOLISK they didn't miss it they basically chose not to invest as blockchainr posted lots of interest but no one wanted to invest ofcourse lots were riding the eth wave but they would have sold and bought lisk as it was high enough for profit. if i had the chance to buy lisk yes i would only if they launched on the given date and then dumped to buy dao .no way would i have bought now. just look at that money flowing into DAO some of that would have gone into lisk for a pump just bad timing and plus the network collapsing just a big no no yet just have to wait and see, one thing for sure dao will have more activity. there is just too much interest in DAO. like i said give it 4months+ to find its legs plus i havent unleashed my secret weapon yet so you have yet respond to that |

I think I rather buy Rise than Lisk because Rise has got everything that Lisk got + more, also the team of Lisk is very small so that's not good  But I wish you all good luck, I am sure it'll be exciting times for the crypto community to watch how this will unfold  what is rise do you have a link I haven't invested in either Lisk or Rise, just want to find out till what extent Rise will be able to compete with Lisk. rise just looks too funny i can't take that seriously between rise and lisk, lisk is obvious choice given their funding but either way all action on dao. lisk team screwed up this ico just have to see in long run if it plays out well |
