According to the individual above this post nobody lost money today in the Dao nor in Ethereum.

ETH back to ATH ($15) from a few days ago. Compare the loss to peeps investing in LISK ...everyone lost a little ;-) I hear you but eth was at $21 US yesterday. 50 Mill Taken, Thats Huge! Taken? More like being "held"...its not going anywhere. In fact, its going back to the investors. Read up more on reddit brodee In that case once the hard fork is made eth will probably fail in the long run, not to mention the dump after that. Either way eth will need time to recover, if it finally does I agree that ETH will need time to recover....but as of this post, its at $15.00 (ATH prior to this "hack") and I am fine with it at this price after a security breach. Shows you something about ETH withstanding this and not dropping to .35cents  ETH wouldn't drop to .35cents US in just one day. DAO is sinking like a rock in a lake! |

Whales create trends, LISK and ETH are DAPP oriented - transfer crowd psychology from ETH/DAO to LISK needs only whales with big amount of LISKs and BTC.
It will last till certain amount of people realize that LISK is not affected by same DAO's flaw.

people are selling lisk now in order to get in the btc (among the fear about the eth-gate). When the halving is done they will return to rebuy cheap their lisks. Pure logic, they take the risk to increase their capital while they drop the price of what they really want to invest in the long term. Combine this with the day traders and you know what is happening.

Man, this is really bad for Ethereum. Now there fungibility is gone. And Vitalik can't exactly change his statement now. In hindsight, he probably should have not done anything regarding a "fix". |
