How risky it is to invest in lisk as of right now?
This will depend on how much profit you expect to get when investing in lisk and how long you expect to make that profit, if you set a goal it will be easier for you and you will have an answer to your question It is always very risky to invest in crypto. Always expect to loose all your money... but remember: you can just loose 100%, but win a few 100% You are correct, look at the people who invested in siacoin when was in the 700 satoshi, now these people have a huge loss Other altcoin fall a lot, but lisk had only a small reduction

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Hey everyone, finally its time to register as an delegate for lisk. My name is Dominik and i invested and supported lisk from early on before and after the crowdfunding 2016. With my blog invesd.org, I got the chance to interview Max Kordek with a looot of positive feedback. A few weeks later a really long review came out. Both articles can be still found here: From 26 March 2016 http://invesd.org/interview-series-3-lisk/From 27 June 2016 http://invesd.org/lisk-review/A few weeks ago I had the privilege to interview Max Kordek in my own german podcast -WirSindPodcast- We are almost at 200 episodes now and the feedback for the open talk with Max was great: From August 2017 - SOON ENG SUBTITLES! PART 1 HERE: https://youtu.be/r0GxPXclc1QPART 2 HERE: https://youtu.be/CSXI6ft06vgIt's time for change, not only in the global banking industry - everywhere! We are in the corner of self destruction and at the same time we have the chance to get to the next level of human beeings - humanity. Blockchain is a great start in the internet, if used correctly! I believe in Lisk and the vision of Max. Let's do this together and build a welcoming home for everyone. SHARING AT LEAST 30% WITH VOTERS. Don't forget to vote for porsche as a upcoming delegate. MORE ABOUT MEI'm starting to help people, learn more about their past and future and how to live a great life in the now. From 2016 I learned extremely high level performance techniques to higher my quality of life more and more. I'm heavy into meditating, cryptocurrencies, digital marketing and a lot more. Right now I'm also building up on of the first professionel cryptocurrency online courses in germany for all the people that have not yet heard about this new trend or had no time / think its to much risk to invest. Release will be probably end of september. Just feel to give a small credit and support? 488345695340464030L I'm looking forward to meet more awesome people in this community and movement. Lovely day Dominik

It seems like a hard number like that is not valid for long in a dynamic system. What I think is needed is a calculator or API call that takes into account the current valid voter's balance for the pool.

S.O.S. - Help Needed to keep an old Bird alive!Elite payouts gonna be a tad smaller this week guys... Phoenix1969 dropped outside the 101! if you're collecting from elite, you should vote phoenix1969 back in to keep your pool pays higher. For added incentive, I am increasing my Weekly forged Lisk payouts from 25% to 45% plus 5% to project fund for a total of 50%Half of all forged Lisk!SO please vote PHOENIX1969 and get me back up there so we all win!! My computer crashed while I was converting $100 worth of BTC to LSK via Changelly, and I lost the passphrase in the crash as well I was only able to save my wallet address. The conversion went through, but now I can't access my online Lisk wallet anymore worth over 50 LSK. Yes, I'm a newbie to cryptos, and lesson learned: write down the passphrase on a piece of paper. Is there any way to recover my online wallet I created on login.lisk.io without the passphrase? The transaction is on the blockchain explorer here.

Elite memebers fooled noob voters a long time with their lousy 25% payouts. Now the first of them are kicked out of Top101 - for me a natural process.
Maybe more and more voters notice that independent pools paying 50 - 100%?

Which are the pools paying 50-100% payouts and are currently forging? A list of them would be usefull.

When I started getting interested in these delegates votings, I couldn't understand why in top 101 there are so many little paying delegates when there are many out there offering at least 80%. Is there something that I'm missing or have we voluntarily decided to support weak pay outs?

Perhaps worth putting a note in the official online wallet to write down your passphrase on a piece of paper so other people don't make the same mistake as I, not merely to "keep it safe".

Make sure that you keep the passphrase safe. If you lose your passphrase later on, your account can't be restored and all your funds will be lost. Writing your passphrase down does not denote it being safe(You can lose it in a fire). Keeping your passphrase safe means keeping it safe regardless of the method you use. I for one hammered my passphrase into a piece of steel. Is that anymore safe than paper? Perhaps, perhaps not. It comes down to how you manage the security of your passphrase ultimately. You overlooked your security and learned a valuable lesson only costing you $100. Believe me, many have paid a much higher price to learn the same lesson you have. Consider yourself having come out of this experience unscaved and much wiser as a result.

I just think it would be good practice and customer service to try to ensure newbies like me really appreciate how important keeping your passphrase safe is. I really should have known better, not making any excuses.
