Question. I have my passphrases downloaded and stored on a usb drive. MUST I "validate passphrase"? I don't want to share my private key... the whole point of a public and private key is never to share your private key....
You must validate your keys, as I know it is mandatory and that is why we have delay because a lot of people didn't validate their keys I really don't want to. My keys have been accepted, I have stored them offline. I don't see the reason to validate the keys. It doesn't feel right to me...

I suggest asking this in the lisk forum, although I believe the validation process is happening purely on client side and the only information travelling to server side is a flag confirming the succesfull validation.

Once you completed the exchange a window popped with the address and passphrase. It gives you the option to download the credentials to a text file and afterwards you close the dialog box by "accepting" or basically saying that you've recorded the pass phrase.

Which means that because of your paranoia, you are much more likely to lose your balance, than for someone to steal them from you because you entered them on a site THAT GENERATED them for you in the first place. I lost good amounts due to paranoia in the past. Never again.

Just wasted time reading past 16 pages to see only 1 or 2 people who figured out the real motive behind the Lisk launch delay. Let me spell it for you: LISK just fu*ked up the ICO plans of April 12 for

Isn't it obvious ? If Lisk launches on April 11, some people will pump n dump it on April 12 to buy Waves & receive their 1st day bonus of 20%from Waves: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1387944.0By delaying Lisk launch to end of April, Waves has no chance at eating from Lisk Marketcap. I'm pretty sure Waves won't raise more than $1M because of this.

Waves ICO will be already a failure by May if it can't manage to raise $500k by May. How do you think Waves will look when it can't even manage to raise 1/10 th of Lisk's $7 Million ICO? Pretty sure Waves will be D.O.A. From what I hear, both Max & Waves Dev come from NXT... I'm curious to know if there was any feud between them from back then, that lead to this.
