thoughts

javascript dapps will be created and run on the lisk javascript plattform

these dapps will then be copy and past on the crypti javascript plattform

so crypti and lisk are linked together, they will grow together

What for? It'll be stupid on having to do so, especially that most of the XCR is now owned by LiskHQ

Exactly, Crypti is finished. It is either support Lisk because a majority of Crypti was exchanged in the ICO to receive Lisk. There is no reason why Crypti and Lisk would grow together. It doesn't make logically sense. It is either Crypti or Lisk. I believe it is 100% Lisk.

To vote a delegate, have you to be a standby delegate?
Or anybody can vote? (I want to vote but I don't want to be a delegate node)  Huh

i agree, shit i'm sure we can find a great logo designer that's willing to work for some lisk.

Fuck that noise, goto fiverr.com and spend some change with unlimited reworks... come on now, lets stop the stupid logo issue.
If you want to set up a bounty for it and the devs agree to that, then we can set a date and as a delagate i will donate a small % into that bounty.
But that is far from the task at hand. successful launch is #1. piddly graphics can be later. rant over.

Altough the logos are taken from shutterstock, it is the right direction how it should look like. Colorful, unique, memorable and cognizable. Maybe the designers should take these example as an inspiration.

As previously stated, we will likely rebrand completely, but this will come later.

I realize that Devs are busy preparing for a smooth launch, but I think it's crucial that they rebrand now before the launch and before the media and news outlets PROPAGATE the current logo across the internet.

Another important thing to consider is CONFUSION; I've seen many people get confused on exchanges and other crypto services (i.e. ShapeShift) because they keep looking for the wrong coin icon. (Remember late rebrandings of Dash/Darkcoin/Reddcoin etc. ?)

For inspiration; I'm sharing some logos that:

  • 1. Emphasize Dapps diversity on Lisk Dapp store with multiple colors.
  • 2. User friendly colors (think Google Play / Apple store /Microsot app store colors...).
  • 3. Recognizable "L" symbol on exchanges and everywhere like Bitcoin & Litecoin logos (Ethereum diamond logo is just NOT recognizable).[/b]
  • 4. Stand out from the rest of the cryptocurrencies logos, because Lisk is special.

I will go on record and say those are not eye catching by any means...

Yep, we need to get completely away from just the "L" imo.

BTC = Black Swan.
BTC = Antifragile - "Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Robust is not the opposite of fragile.
