Crypti, which is 100% the same, just compare the website, isn't even 1 cent. So sure, LISK will be 1 dollar.
Keep dreaming.

Meet the guy that bought ETH at 0.0359. Seriously though, I own ETH, in fact I made a killing on ETH. I went big on both XCR and ETH. Made money on both and now I'm sticking with LISK. I don't see the point to picking a side. If you see an opportunity jump on it. You just have to win more than you lose.

I have posted a proposal to create a pipeline for dapp creation on the Lisk Forum for public review and comment, https://forum.lisk.io/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=99&p=445#p445 . I am also posting it here: Development Process:- dapp idea and description is posted
- originator diagrams dapp function, with assistance if needed
- proposal is publicly reviewed for comment
- crowdsourced suggestions are reviewed and added to diagram if approved
- js code is exported from the diagram software
- designers wireframe the UI
- coders refine the skeleton js code into functioning dapp, create the UIs, and install it on the dapp cluster
- the dapp is tested for bugs, quality, and reliability
- dapp is audited for security
- dapp is registered into Lisk
- video and marketing materials created
- marketing and PR announce and launch the dapp
- dapp monitored for quality and reliability
- bug fixes
- ongoing support
- feature upgrades
Funding:- Seed funding is from a delegate dapp fund which issues shares in the fund to voters
- shares issued to originator of dapp idea, developers, marketing, other tasks willing to work for equity
- ICOs are held as additional funding rounds for dapps which need more capital to complete
- VC and angel investment are also additional funding options.
A promising UML tool for software modeling which can export skeleton code to js is, https://www.softwareideas.net/ , but is proprietary closed source. Drakon, http://drakon-editor.sourceforge.net/ , also exports js code and is open source, but is not as polished for general UML use as Softwareideas. Waterbear, http://waterbearlang.com/index.html , is a drag&drop visual programming interface using blocks which exports js code. Waterbear is similar to Scratch, Snap!, and App Inventor.

Let's say at some point anybody succeded purchasing 51% of the total circulating Lisk, how you prevent that person to vote his own 101 "friends" and therefore take control over Lisk making it centralized ?

time to start page spamming.
We have to spread it for sure, If we want people buying it, they need to know it. Would be nice if on launch day (April 11) every member with Full Member status, or above, put the Lisk signature on your profile and some related avatar, like one I saw some people using: I will thank who post the picture in better resolution, although I think it is usable as avatar. The first page of this thread has the signature option for Full Members and the option for Sr Members. The Grumlin production it's a great option too, for Sr. member or above: the newest signature it's my production for Sr. member or aboveLISK | ▄██▄ ▄██████▄ ▄██████████▄ ▄██████████████▄ ▀██████████████▀ ████████████ ██████████ ▀████████▀ ████████████ ██████████████ ████████████ ▀██████▀

Ok, this is just an idea, it's a little out there, but here it goes: What if we would use the delegates as an approval system for dapps? I do not necessarily mean that literally, but maybe you could use it as a system to create trust and reputation. As far as I understood, you can't really exclude bad dapps at the moment, so you could create a trust system, where members of the community who have enough reputation to run as delegates, can give their approval (or not…). How exactly a delegate gets to the conclusion, whether or not he_she gives approval would be up to them, so making the people who voted for you vote for the approval would be an option, or having experts at hand for example… I'm not sure what to make of this idea myself, I thought, I just put it out there… EDIT: there is a price speculation thread, care to take it there? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1386914.0

I agree that must be brought a defined and consistent working plan for the customers. I think that's one of the things that is making more noise in this thread.

He wouldn't need to purchase 51%, it could be done with a lot less. On top of that, it would have a self-reinforcing quality to it in that the more Lisk he gains from the node, the more Lisk can be put into voting for himself the next time. In a "perfect storm" scenario, where voter numbers, potential delegates and the price of Lisk intersect in the right way, a small group of people could have an overwhelming influence on the vote outcome. This wouldn't necessarily be such a problem if every Lisk holder participated in the vote, but we know this won't happen and the vote will be decided by a very small demographic of Lisk holders, as happens in practically every other voting system. Bitcoin is having problems with cabals and centralisation as I write this and it would be naive to think that Lisk couldn't have similar problems in the future, especially once the market cap hits a respectable figure and temptation proves too much - someone will try something. It can already be seen here - the temptation is proving too much after some "out of the ass" figures have been bandied about. I would be concerned about some ( by no means all) of the prospective delegates motives - they've shown no interest in Lisk until now and I doubt their intentions of securing the network over profit - at the first disappointment they and their nodes will be gone. I write this based on my understanding of how Lisk will work. I may have missed something or just be plain wrong.... I'm open to education. Here's a link regarding Bitshares which is using the same system. It explains my thoughts more clearly and also describes an interesting potential DDoS attack on delegates. http://tpbit.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/thoughts-on-delegated-proof-of-stake.htmlI agree that this is, at the moment, largely theoretical, but I see no harm in discussing it now.

Yeah, this keeps being brought up and I haven't seen an official response from the team yet. Could we get one, please? Or did I miss it? It's kind of ridiculous and does not reflect well on the team if you guys won't respond to this fundamental and very critical question. So, devs, please chime in or point us to where you have answered this previously.

its good cuz you cant buy in now as the funding is closed until the coin launches and hits exchanges. also by the time everything is solidified and the value is known will be to late to make a risk and invest. its fine if this is to risky for you, it wasnt to risky for 5.7 million dollars worth of investors which at the end of the day doesnt mean this coin goes to .02btc/lisk (like mentioned above) or zero (as also likely mentioned previously)

Finally someone targets the #1 TOP PRIORITY which is Making Dapps. @LiskHQ pointed multiple times that current Dapp documentation is still not suitable for common JavaScript developers. They need to fix that documentation ASAP, otherwise JavaScript developers won't bother making Dapps.

This means splitting a huge database into a network of smaller ones. (The diagram showing what it will look like can be downloaded together with Buterin’s presentation.) The process will include several stages. After the initial basic sharding (which will result in the implementation of Ethereum 2.0) Ethereum 3.0 will be developed – a blockchain system that will be capable of infinite sharding." Sounds like much release hype and many pump
