Remember that ICO whale who bought 1000 BTC worth of LISK? Based on Yobit price, he now has around 30,000 BTC. Hah!
So? Do you have 1000 btc to invest in a coin? He deserved it. that and he started the FOMO with his big bites into the ICO. If you high risk invest $420.000 USD, you better have a great return on the project you don't lose it all on. Risk/Reward.

By the way who even knows IF yobit even bought on the ICO and how much. They may even be selling "lisk" that they have to buy when lisk launches.
Indeed That sounds soooo sacmmy. Do you think that is what they are actually doing? Obviously they are not. Just like Gatecoin they have a chunk of the ICO, and are floating the market with it. There is no business scenario where it makes sense to run a scam for a few 100 btc.

Hell, even the amateur-IOU for Ethereum sent their 'customers' the actual crypto. There is just no point to running some kind of scam using IOU, because if you aren't big enough for it to cost more than it's worth people won't trade it.

I understand Lisk wanting to protect their customers, that's noble. On the flip side, if they think they can somehow control market forces, they are kidding themselves. It blows my mind that they seem surprised this would happen. As you already referenced Gatecoin, this was predictable. The announcement about pushing back the deadline made it even more predictable. I just thought Gatecoin would do it first.

As exchanges evolve, this will be more and more common as a way to attract customers. I know Gatecoin already have a deal with slock.it and will do the same with their ICO.

I don't understand. How can Lisk trade on Yobit? It isnt available yet. Please explain.
They trade lisk tokens Ok, but how are those tokens redeemed? The exchange will simply swap them with the real tokens they bought during ico when it launches. But how many did the exchange buy? They can't sell more than they bought,

Hi guys , how much cost 1 lisK now?
I think around 0.18 BTC 1 BTC = aprox. 5500 Lisk Don't let others fool you... 1 Lisk = $3.15 USD on average at the moment. It should be updated on http://coinmarketcap.com pretty soon. I told you LAST WEEK that Lisk will be on CoinMarketCap:https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lisk/#chartsIt will start trading at $3.15 USD on Rex & Polo

Yeah it's clever of yobit to make some money, but kind of stupid aswell. If for instance something drastically goes wrong with Lisk, Yobit are already making money of people buying their lisk which they don't even own yet. What if they never get it. What if they mess wallets up and something terrible goes wrong. Traders will be at a huge loss. Not to mention the trading fees. It's undeniable that there has never been so much volume on Yobit and they will be making quite a bit if this keeps up on those fees. They're playing with fire in my eyes.

Wouldn't it be funny if the devs refund Yobit's ico? I think it would shut them down permanently.
