BlueYard in retrospect. Lisk founders first meeting.

Decentralized & Encrypted. That was the title of the first conference the Lisk founders ever attended. It was hosted by BlueYard in Berlin on June the 1st, 2016.

Read the full conference report!

Max thank you for a retrospective article about meeting in Berlin. Could you please provide us with some info about your next conference in China. We really need China's market attention to this technology..to this coin!

In China I will be on the Global Blockchain Summit conference. As far as I know the last time there were about 500 participants. Luiz, our Chinese ambassador, is also setting up a lot of meetings. I will be a few days in Shanghai, and a bit over a week in Beijing. I hope to meet some Lisk community members as well. Smiley

There will be a similar blog post about China, once I'm back in Germany. Please note in these blog posts we can only write a bit about how it was. Nothing about connections we made or beginnings of partnerships. Deals are made weeks or months after the initial meeting at a conference.

Maybe you should consider a possibility to sign some memorandums of understandings and letters of intentions with some projects to be implemented on LISK blockchain. These types of documents are not legaly binding but will do a big step for a community's confidence in the future.

max never said that he has news, he said that he will make a blog about what happened in berlin. It isn't necessary that he has closed a deal, it is very likely that he just makes a summary of what he saw there. So people please calm down, I sense a hype here and also in the trollbox about incoming news, there is no need for that and we don't want another crash if nothing special happened.

+1000 All that was stated was that he would update the blog with information about how the conference went.  No hints at anything to hype about.

If you want to get excited about hearing from him then go right ahead but don't generate unnecessary hype over nothing

Yes, today I will post a longer blog post about the conference. Nothing big, but also nothing small. However, no hype is needed for that. Smiley

Next week there will be a big announcement I'm really looking forward to, that's independent of the conference.

Any speculations on what could be this "Next week big announcement" HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

DAPPS competition with a big bounty?

@LiskHQ

Can't wait for next week's Big Announcement!

When prices move up too quickly, people cash out for a quick and easy profit.

So that was some HUGE cash out then, like almost killed the coin. no real pin point was found...

Copy it again and mind that you shouldn't copy newline or last character if there is a space

It was just a 1st day pop. It happens to almost all ICOs and even wall street IPOs.
Most ICO junkies sold and jumped on the next ICO train which was Waves at the time.
In the next few days, you won't even recognize that 1st day pop on the price chart.
Lisk recent price rise proves beyond doubt that Lisk has yet to get started.

1 day from 5$ to 25 cents is worrisome IMO. and to this day still has not recuperated.

Are you talking about the first day, when it was down -100% ?  That happened because someone decided to pay around 450 BTC per lisk, so that was the opening price. Only a fraction of a Lisk was purchased at that price, i believe.

Type it out. Perhaps you copy/pasted a space at the end.

Judging by this graph here: https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/lisk for last 3 months seems it opened at 4.63 then leveled out to around 1.50$ to 2$ or so then a sudden jump to 5$ and then it crashed to 25 cents. But even if it was falsely pumped to 5$, the drop down to 25 cents is far below the stable price it had before. But i do believe in the project and think it has great potential for the future. I was simply just curious if anyone had any insight. thank you everyone for your feedback. Cheers  Cool

Exactly that was Yobit and it's IOU price.
Then Yobit magically froze it's LSK market when Bittrex and Poloniex was selling for under 0.00100000 satoshi.

LISK was launched on MAY 24, 2016!!!!  Yobit also did a price manipulation with Waves as well.  The waves team hired a lawyer because of this.
