That is right, this for me is not a quick sell 3-5x my buy in and run to the next. This project and the team behind it will create a contender by end of the year or early next year will see how massive the potential is. That really is not long to hold a coin.

The vast majority of altcoin trading volume is denominated in BTC.

Therefore, it is kind of irrelevant to reference USD price when you are talking about an altcoin.

What is relevant is that the untouched stash of 14k BTC from the ico is now worth more than 8 million euro.  That is a lot of money for years of Lisk development.

It is relevant in the sense that it indicates where the BTC rise is coming from, and it is not the Alt market.

Apart from that, if I were to sell my Lisk to let's say pay rent or whatever, there fiat price would be highly relevant for me.
